Love the update!
To stick down the cannons maybe use a jumper plate or this piece:

You could put it upside down the attach the open circle end to the deck

Neat,thanks! I also found out that the 1x1 bricks with holes are also good :)

Oh this is all coming together nicely but it is a bit of a mess at the bow. I think you could reduce the number of bricks used so that it would look less messy and complicated. (IMO some are not necessary)

Sorry for bumping old topic just wanted to say that i will not finish the ship,because i will need the parts for other builds ,so this is actually the finished version.

@hobbes5a I changed the front but i always forget to picture it :D
So yeah this WIP could go to the MOCs thread as its not going to be finished.
