Miro78 Posted June 17, 2016 I am not the first to have built BB-8 out of Lego or at a UCS scale, but I couldn't resist building my own version after having a surplus of white plates left over from my other project. Jamie It's a fine model Jamie. It's holding up quite nicely and I keep it on display in my living room. He finally made a debut at his first public appearance last month. One of these days he'll get more golden and less yellow. I am resisting using spray paint, but I think Bill over at ParLUGment (Canada) might have gotten his gold chromed or painted, not sure, awaiting confirmation. Looks nice all golden.
