DJ Force Posted May 24, 2009 Hey everybody, My wife, daughter, sister and me got back from a marvellous event and some wonderful people we had the chance to finally meet in person. Let me say some things: Ras and Holodoc, thanks for organizing this event and giving us a chance to have some really, really good days! Ras, you´re still the worst Admin ever, but still, things worked out, so who cares? CopMike, thanks a bunch for the excellent goodybag. Love all those promo sets and rare parts. And thanks for asking about souveniers Whoever got the nametags for us, I fail to find out who that was and in all honesty I got confused with all the names of these people I never met before... Well, thanks for the nametags! They´re great! Holodoc, thanks for the Fabrik2008 brick and for the fight with the Eurohotel management and everything else. Captain Green Hair and Dennimator, thanks for making me wonder if building the market village is really possible in less than two hours. CGH, thanks for the free torso! Everyone else, thanks a million times for a hearty welcome and a really good time. We sure enjoyed the stay and the event and we´ll definetly try to make it to the next Legoland event next year! Hope to see you again, maybe also on some other events! I´m building lots of stuff right now with all the PaB parts I bought. Oh yeah, I especially like those green BURPs and the white technic pieces (Vestas ftw) Oh, and the chrome ! I will take the time on my Market Village build and post it here, hopefully probably under 2 hrs. I already can´t wait until the next event! I had a great time, thank you all a lot! Furthermore I think that during the entire event not one bad word had been fallen (correct me if I'm wrong), which I find amazing. This was my first LEGO event and I am 100% certain it will not be my last! Next year, Günzburg or Billund, I will try to be there (disasters have to happen to prevent me from coming). But since now being a member, perhaps next year I will participate as a member as well, even though being the worst bowler ever... But Ras74, you have to practice on that swing, be careful, Miss Pink is dangerous... One hint only: some of us oldies can not stay awake after midnight If the competitions will take place after that, the young fresh will definitely be in advance... That is a lame excuse, my dad is 54 and on a good day he can still outswim me. Maybe you should start training for next year already, we know Morten does it all year round.
