The explosion is definitely impressive! I like how many different parts you used for the smoke effect  :thumbup:

Very convincing explosion effect.  Very kinetic feeling.

I don't think they'd fair to well that close to an explosion of that magnitude though.  :pir_laugh2:

Kinetic is exactly the right word!  It's an impressive enough MOC, but the sense of an explosion being captured mid-event is what sets it apart.

Thank you all for your kind comments! I'm very happy with the effect as it was a nightmare to build - it fell apart multiple times until I reconsidered the structure of the supports.
