Ahhh the return of the Armada minifigs :pir-wub:  Hopefully they will make a return in thier own theme soon. If POTC brings us some too that will be great.

I will go NUTZ when TLC comes with POTC !  :pir-cry_happy:   :pir-classic:  
But somehow i can't place the Armada Theme into the world of POTC.....  :pir-sceptic:

I prefer the see it like the POTC movies, Pirates against Imperial Fleet (Or VOC some say it)

I'd Love to see new Armada sets, even If they are fleshies. By the time Armada came out I had gone out of Lego and never got any. :pir-hmpf_bad:

I think we'd prefer to see Imperial Armada sets happening right now while we wait for the Pirates of the Caribbean sets.

I would too, maybe that exclusive set being revealed at the Great Western Lego Show will have more clues-

I am a big fan of the Armada faction and I would be happy with their possible return.

However, I am just hopping for some awesome minifigs with detailed torsos and legs regardless of color!
I never really understood the whole blue/red coat obsession that some have  :pir-hmpf:

So as long as they're not some outlandish, ridiculous color (eg. lime green or purple) I am happy!  :thumbup:

I hope that TLG doesn't use the flesh color :pir_mad:, but I think that they can use the new orange and brown - dark brown for the uniforms :thumbup:

oh what a beautiful sock he's wearing :pir_laugh2: Hope the Lego minifig doesn't have that blue thing though..(I hope it's just for his CGI-peg leg)

I noticed that as well...  Barbossa didn't have a pegleg in the previous movies did he?

I very doubt pictures of myself would interest those interested in the return of Imperial Armada like sets and figures.

As for the Stranger Tides images, I just Google "Strangers Tides" or "Pirates of the Caribbean 4" and dowload whatever images look interesting.

But I don't post the images immediately, I wait until this thread needs a little boost.  The pictures of Barbossa have been floating around the Internet for over 10 days now.

How did Barbossa come to wear a bluecoat uniform and what's happening with this leg?

Great pictures.  I wonder if he is working for the navy or is in some kind of official capacity.  I also wonder what happened to his leg.  The way Barbossa has his eyes closed also makes me wonder if he is blind as well.  :pir-sceptic:

In the movies they use bleu backgrounds to change things...
In the movie he (Proberly!) lost his leg, but in real life they can't saw his leg of.....
Take a good look to his knees!!

So he has a bleu sock but in the movie we wil see a wooden leg. (Or something like it)

About Barbossa's leg, the blue leg is indeed going to be edited. A peg leg is the only thing I can think of. Interesting uniform!

Yes and the funny little red balls on the leg are for points of reference, to tell which angle the leg is at, so they can easily position and orient the computer-generated leg replacement.

To be quite precise the technique is called Motion Tracking or Motion Capture and the red balls are known as markers.  :pir-classic:

So, hopefully we get multiple Bluecoat styles. And, if they make Redcoats, I hope they don't reuse the 2009 pirates torso's.

Wow the Black Pearl confirmed sounds great  :pir-cry_happy:
Plus if they do make some Spainish Armada ships then that'd be great also. Plus... Penelope Cruz ( my favorite female actress) is in the movie so maybe we'll get a minifig of her  :pir-sweet:  :pir-wub:
