First of all, I want to thank everyone for playing. It was a lot of fun (and some major stress occasionally) for me, and most importantly, I hope you all had fun too. For the most part, everyone did a great job and mostly embraced their conversion when they got moved to a new team :wink:

We managed to make it through not one but three board outages during this game, that must be some sort of record. Thanks everyone for your patience with those issues and to the Admin team and Ace for getting us back up as fast as possible each time. Couldn't live without you all :wub:

Being such a clever hedgehog, you learned early in life how to use a human computer. You use the technology to track your family and all the horses that come and go from the land. Why would you care about tracking horses? Last year, a horse came here for a race, and that horse was startled. In the confusion, the horse trampled your brother-cousin to death. It was then that you vowed to get your revenge somehow, and that's why you hate horses and learned to track them with the human's computer.

All year you dream of the race and being with Carl again, even if it's only for a short time. Bio: You really do love keeping the Stables looking great. It must be in your blood because your whole family has a green thumb and likes taking care of plants in one way or another (except your brother Larry who is a lumberjack, but we won't think about that). The Stables grounds are the most beautiful place in Heartlake and you aim to keep it that way. The thorn in your side though, are those damn hedgehogs. It seems like they are always tunneling around and ruining your perfectly manicured lawns and gardens. You could swear you've even seen one of them inside the house near a computer, but why would it do that?

Role: You are the Traitor. You know that there are 5 other scum members, but you only know one person on the team, that person is Patty (DarthPotato). You never have any doubt you will with this beauty pageant, just like all the others. One thing does have you worried though, your dear mother has told you in no uncertain terms that you must find a mate here. She said there are many eligible horses and you should have no trouble finding the best male to keep a strong family line going. You worry that you might not be able to find true love.

You've always been a bit different than the other girls. Your upbringing taught you the finer points of social life, but it also taught you to guard your true self. Coming from one of the most prominent families in Heartlake, you have never had to worry about money and you spend your free time traveling the world. It's always been a joy for you to visit another country and let your true self shine. When abroad, there's nobody telling you who you have to be seen with or not seen with, who to date, and who to shun.

Alignment: You are aligned with the "Animals R People Too!" Cult.

Role: You are the Cult Leader. Each night you can convert one Townie by sending in the action and target via reply to this PM. You must get your action in before the night phase action deadline. Late actions will be ignored. You are currently the only member of the Cult. There will only ever be one cult leader, but in the case of your death the first person you converted will take over this role, so choose wisely. Immediately after your lynch or death, your apprentice will clear out your room and hide your body.

Secondary Ability: As an option, the Cult Leader can choose to investigate a target to see if they are scum or town. This ability can be used in place of the conversion ability for that night, but only the Cult Leader is able to investigate.

Animals R People Too!

You are the leader of the radical group known as "Animals R People Too!". Your group had come to Heartlake Stables to not only free the animals from their beastly burdens, but also to recruit new members. Once you recruit enough members, the killings will stop and you can all go back to the ARPT compound to live out an amazing life of animal love.

About Converting:

Each night your group can try to convert one Townie. Any one person in the group can do the actual conversion, but the order must come in through the Cult Leader role PM by the end of the night phase action deadline. Late actions will be ignored. However, your group is also known for growing the most amazing poppy flowers, which when smoked at night make the smoker forget all troubles and duties. It's hard to tell who will get to them first, but the next day the smoker has a most horrible headache and always swears they will never touch the poppy again (though that promise doesn't last long). Be careful with your targets, the Scum are nonconvertible and will result in the death of the Cult Member who tries to convert them.

To perform a conversion, the Cult Leader must send in this format via his/her role PM:

CultistName will convert CharacterName tonight.

Lunch: In your rush to leave the house this morning, you forgot your lunch! You did, however, remember your disposable bulletproof vest. You must be paranoid or have lots of enemies.

The first time you are targeted for a kill (other than lynch), you will survive. This item can not be given away or removed.

Win condition: You win when you have converted the Town and outnumber the Scum.

All of the people in the pictures look very loving and kind.

Cultist Role:

Every converted townie becomes a cultist. Converted townies lose their town role and only win with the cult. If a scum is targeted, the cultist who was the converter that night dies and the scum is not converted. The conversion action is immune to night block but not to other role overrides (roles that can't be targeted for any action), however, there is a chance (based on the number of cultists) that the conversion will fail due to the cultist getting into the Poppy supply. If the original Cult Leader dies, the first converted cultist will take over that role. If the new Cult Leader dies, the rest of the cult will suicide the next day.

I don't honestly think I've ever reverse meatshielded myself with someone who wasn't even on my team before having them converted, so this was a delightful twist. :wacko:

Good job cult, I never doubted that each and every one of you could take what had been set up and carry it to a successful conclusion. Ok, fine, I completely doubted it, but it was the most logical plan I could come up with to satisfy the crazy situation I had to deal with and you did it! :thumbup:

I'm sure I'll ramble more later, but for now, congrats culties and thanks to the host for showing us a very interesting first outing and venturing into somewhat uncharted and absolutely insane territory. Good job! :sweet:

I really see the brilliance of your plan now. By killing yourself so soon, not only did you lead the Townies to believe you were a janitored Scum, you also gave us the argument that the Cult would have suicided had it lingered, putting the cult in a great position to fester beneath the Town's attention like mildew under a darkly painted bathroom wall. I'll talk more on mechanics in the morning, but I am so impressed with your manipulations that I'm drawn back to the gambits of Forest 2. Oh did I think I had caught you scumming when I sent you that dramatic "In Shadows We Trust" elegy. Yes, I'm really sorry we had to Lynch you. We couldn't Lynch Dave, because he would have killed the remaining scum (We thought Psy was the only one, although I suspected DP might have been one too, what with claiming protector when there was a Jailer and me. So did Draggy for a different reason. I just doubted there were 6 scum and a Cult.) We couldn't lynch Psy because see above. DP wouldn't do because we needed as much protection as we could get, and lynching a scum wouldn't do us much good. Also I think we cleared him somehow. I forget the specifics. Def wouldn't do and neither would JimB, because they'd fight too hard and were part of the Town block and whatnot. Nobody would believe that. Badboy I confirmed myself as not the killer. Thanks to a balancing mechanism we were put in a bad situation yesterday, hence the gambit that was your Lynch.

I "cleared" DarthPotato, by using the lunch I stole from Draggy on him, and getting a result of a blue paper hat or something like that... :wacko:. He probably was a scum protector.

Oh, yeah. Now I remember. I wondered about that so I googled blue hat and found out it's a synonym for Hacker or something. Blue hat more likely signifies scum protector, but heck, there may have been a Scum hacker for all I know. There were several odd roles and results during the game, yours and mine for instance. I guess we'll find out when DD posts the PMs in the morning. :laugh:

I googled it too :laugh:. And found it didn't make sense in a mafia setting, so I asked our dear hedgehog what he thought, and he immediately associated with protector, so I settled with that...

Congrats to the winners and survivors. :thumbup: Especially the cult, for some ridiculous ploys that really paid off in the end.

Day vig is such a wacky role. It looks so anti-townie I'd rather have been a perfectly average, blockable, protecter-vulnerable vig. :tongue: After claiming to Hinck, my targets were essentially chosen by everyone in the day. Wasn't much personal help, though, I ended up just being an extra lynch, in a way. :def_shrug:

Well, I was enjoying things well enough until the conclusion. I don't know how the cult won, what their win condition was or what they had to do or what their actions were, which makes it pretty hard to play against, but congratulations to the winners!

What a game what a game! I have to say the lunches really brought something new to the game of Mafia. I loved it! And I am really glad to be among the survivors, I normally have the tendency to die.

After the first shock, I want to say, that I had a lot of fun. Well, at first I sucked as hell, then I got annoyed as hell. But then I learnt it was just a game. I was suspicious of Hinckley till the end, but thought that I was just metagaming. It was still odd that they did not want to kill or lynch me for days. Either Hinkcley was not that good player, I thought of, or a Cult or Second Mafia Team or what else actually existed. I must say at the end that I have learned a lot from my first advanced game. You learn from mistakes after all. :laugh:

One thing I really want to know: Did you guys think know all the time that I was scum or have there been doubts? When did you actually investigate me? And how? And what was the result in fact?

Maybe I am the player that got teased most of all. :hmpf_bad::blush:

Darkdragon: Thank you, it was much fun. There were a lot of nice features in this game and you "managed" it very well. Thanks for letting me play!

I have a lot of personal correspondence saved, but I will wait for Darkdragon to reveal further details and so on.

First I would like to thank the host; Darkdragon, you did an awesome job and the game was very interesting to play!!!!

Mind blown!! I was a tool of the cult!!!! I had 100% confidence in Hinck and Dany ... and both were cult :wall:

I had a lot of fun piecing together who was who and who did what; the more the game progressed the more Hinck seemed suspicious to me, by last night I was convinced he was the godfather!!!!

A cult really!!! HA! good job guys!

One thing I really want to know: Did you guys think know all the time that I was scum or have there been doubts? When did you actually investigate me? And how? And what was the result in fact?

After Hinck, Scuba, Dany, you and I had the conversation about you being my sibbling and who told you I was the other sibbling, I suspected you. I asked DD for clarification on what it meant for me to find you and she alluded to the fact our relation was "more like lovers" which to me meant you were scum since I was town. Then Hinck turned around and claimed you were verified as town. At this point I stopped talking for a while to Hinck and Dany as I thought it was fishy; I was convinced you were scum, I even told Hinck and Dany I was 100% sure as of Day 5.
