Hello all!!!

After ages, I just finished my biggest work ever. You might know it from earlier threads...

Let's start!!!

This is a little animation of a poor pirate who is going to be roasted!  8-|

After this little shock for you, pirates, here the rest of my MOC-review:

First of all, I wanna show you an overall view of the MOC.
In the middle you can see the lookout tower, which was the very first thing of this MOC. At the back, there is a throne of the Islanders-chief. At the left, there is the rosting-pirates-detail I showed you above. In the back of this scene you can see a little Islanders home (you will see it in detail later on). On the right side there are a few poor pirates beeing bound to poles, and a woman sitting in a cage!



Now to the details:

First of all, I will show you the little house I mentioned before:



The next detail is the throne of the chief, where the pirate captain has to negotiate with the chief. At the back of the throne you can see dead pirate-skeletons.



What I wanna show you next are the poles and the cage, where the pirate bride and some of the crew are there until the negotiation between the captain and the chief is finished.

And finally I wanna show you, what kind of minifigs and how many parts I used for that MOC  8-o ...

The overall looks of this MOC are impressive.
This must be one of the biggest Islander MOCs that exist.
But considering all the details that are everywhere, makes this MOC even better.
I like this a lot Aredhel!!!

What a wonderful village for all these beautiful Islanders.... great work!  *y*
The proportions and size of that MOC´re very nice, and the details like
those skellies at the back of the throne (spooky), the little house (neat),
the overgrown lookout tower (bloomy) and all these marvelous MFs
(baby on board) are simply amazing and funny too.
Pirate BBQ on! I hope there´s some sauce left....  8-|

I thought that this Islander was carrying a human head from an enemy (maybe to cook it) :'-( .

No, this is a baby... And pirate heads are normally not painted in the Islanders face paintings :-P

I think you made a very beautiful scene! The WIP-thread already looked promising but the final result blows any Islander MOC away.

I notice some yellowing on the white pieces used to make the throne, but in this case the colourvariations fit in just well, never thought yellowing actually could do some good in a model, it makes it look authentic in a way. Only thing I don't really like is the horrible colour of that light-pink bird...

That little baby is a great idea, wrapped up against his mothers back.

Those poor pirates...

The baby is a brilliant touch. The whole scene is also well done. I'm not sure if I can picture islanders in a walled village, perhaps using some raised cliff would be better? But the overall effect is still very good!

Yes, you are right, but when I started I never knew that it would be as it is/was now. The wall around the village is only to seperate the village itself. I wanted to build a pirate ship into this MOC, too, but this is another project which I will finish this evening. Maybe today or tomorrow you will all see my first pirate ship  :-$

Did not think about that until now. But I think if you behave nice, they can be very nice islanders :-P

Aredhel, do these islanders like clone sabers that are silver, that might buy me enough time to get away if i run into these fellows :-D  ;-)

Yeah, that sounds about right, i never think of islanders allying with anyone either ;-)

Great MOC Aredhel !! I never thought the final product would look that good !! The structure of the village is really nice but I truly  *wub*  those neat extras where pirates are mutilated, hanged and what have you !!
Too bad I already ate, that bbq is looking good  :-D  That reminds me: "kiss the cook"  ;-)
