Fletcher Floyd Posted April 11, 2016 Hello everybody, I know the Black Falcons should usually belong into the Historic Section, but since this is a ship Moc, I thought it might fit better here. I've built a little patrol boat ("Hornet Class"). The Duke's soldiers use those small ships to secure the rivers or even attack larger Ships in high numbers. Here are the pictures, I hope you like it: Heavy Patrol Boat by Fletcher Floyd, auf Flickr Crew 1 by Fletcher Floyd, auf Flickr Front by Fletcher Floyd, auf Flickr Back by Fletcher Floyd, auf Flickr
Cousarmy0001 Posted April 11, 2016 That's a nice little ship. Are there cannons implied behind the two inscribed panels on the hull?
Fletcher Floyd Posted April 11, 2016 Thank you, Cousarmy0001. No, there are no cannons inside:-) They're supposed to be there, but I was too lazy to built an interior for them:-)
azog Posted April 11, 2016 Very nice build! I like how you put the hull together!
iammac Posted April 11, 2016 I like the SNOT that smooths the hull toward the back of the ship using 1x2 slopes. Very nicely executed!
Staslegomaster Posted April 12, 2016 I like the way you used different shades of brown coloure. The oldest of them is the nicest for me. What about you? As there can't be cannons, will you add some arbalets as LEGo vikings have?
Cousarmy0001 Posted April 12, 2016 He's saying there aren't any *actual* cannons on board, just imaginary ones behind the panels in the hull.
BrickCurve Posted April 13, 2016 Great MOC, I am not sure whether I like the the front of the ship though.
Cousarmy0001 Posted April 14, 2016 I assume the bow is meant to be a ram, though using it as such will likely destroy the bowsprit and foul the rigging. I think it looks pretty sweet, though.
Brick Corner Posted April 24, 2016 Set looks spectacular! Sad to say that I do not have much knights or hobbit themed bricks!
