Why is Classic-Pirates.com down?

Ahoy,

I am much surprised to see that

http://www.classic-pirates.com/

has been down for something like two weeks now without anything happening.

I was under the impression that this site was the "entrance" to our pirate forums.

Who is to be contacted? Is this going to be down for good?

Anyone around who knows?

I believe Mister Phes runs the site. He said a few months ago that Lego decided classic-pirates no longer needed a Lego Ambassador, but I wouldn't think that means the site gets taken down.

And when I look at the pirate MOC page, it is a shame how few replies there are. I also feel that the number of new posts is somewhat declining.

Classic-Pirates is experiencing technical difficulties. The powers that be are working on it. I'm not sure when it will be back up, but I will keep you posted.

I think that when the new line gets released, there will be a regain in interrest for the pirate theme. Actually, when I saw the first pictures of this new theme, I started working on my own fort. I believe it will be finished in two months.
