What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

Recommended Posts

I know there's topics in the BSTF Forum for such as this.

But this is meant to be solely on LEGO Star Wars purchases.

It's time to share your recent purchases and to brag about the discount you've got

I'll start off with a recent purchase of the new Sith Speeder.

I was in LEGOLand Billund and had to buy something

Today I got the new 7962 Anakin's & Sebulba's Podracer at 30% discount

I'll build both one of these days and do reviews.

Well then... my most recent purchase was 10198, for the May 4th discount of 20% off. I'm the kinda guy that works with what he's got and buys only at good sales, so I probably won't be buying anything else big until November to get the Summer Wave sets. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully?

Hi, I've just purchased the 10212 (UCS Shuttle) as a Birthday present to myself! I bought it direct from Lego, so no discount, but I did manage to get a ARF Trooper which was well worth the premium. I found Brickplummer's version of the Endor landing pad recently & I convinced myself that I had to buy one! :sweet:

I got both 7915 and 8093 (Imperial V-Wing Starfighter and Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter) from Target last week when they had sales on some sets.

Well, as I stated in the general 'what did you buy today' topic, this weekend I ordered and received the Republic Frigate.

I thought it was at a lower price than it should be (€130, while I thought it was gonna cost €150 in stores), but alas, a day later I came across it in the Intertoys, where it was exactly the same price.

No matter, it's definitely worth it

Hmm, the last LEGO Star Wars set I've purchased was...

I should have waited another month and gotten them both for $25. So I guess this is really a 'lack of discount' case. Oh well...

Last one was 10198 at 20% off (the 4th was with me that day).

Planning to get the Falcon any soon at an at least slight discount.

This one will be followed by 7879 with some smaller OT stuff in between. :classic:

During the Shadow ARF promo, I bought:

- Snowtrooper Battlepack x 65

- Clone Trooper Battle Pack x 15

- Mandalorian Battle Pack x 2

- 7929 The Battle of Naboo x 1

- Republic Swamp Speeder x 1

- maybe another AT-AT and a Turbo Tank (can't really remember any more)

- received Shadow ARF x 11

I haven't bought anything SW for a while now, but I think the last set I got was the Battle of Naboo. I'll probably get the new Sith Infiltrator next when it comes out here in Canada in August ( :hmpf: ). Also, I rarely buy things on discounts. I never have the patience to wait to buy something SW unless I really don't care about it (if there are no new awesome figs). Usually, I pay full price.

The last set I purchased was Ewok Attack at full price, but I did receive my AT-OT and Dropship a week earlier, from the May the 4th sale. Now I'm just waiting for all the new sets to come out.

Well, unless he has more than 40,000 minifigs, I'd say the analogy is reversed.

I've bought the $400 Death Star multiple times, because I forgot I already owned one. So yeah, I have a terrible memory.

So far my most recent and only star wars purchase has been the death star XD

I just recently got back into legos, been collecting hero factory/bionicle but now moving into star wars/ninjago

I like any theme really though so I try to buy whatever I find cool :X

Yes. Someone was poking fun at LEGO's MIDI scale still not being uniform across models.

I was just at my local Wal Mart and since the midi star destroyer had been there so long it was marked down to $19.99, and I thought what the heck, less than 5 cents a piece. So I bought it. I really like the parts, and the fun build.

Indeed! I might be in a very small percentage of Lego Star Wars shoppers but madoka is in a league of his own!
