CaptainBraunsfeld CMF GoH Series

Recommended Posts

Here is my entry for the GoH CMF Series:

goh_cmf4.jpg

Mitgardia:

goh_cmf18.jpg

The Yeti Guard - the perfect protector in the North.

goh_cmf12.jpg

Dwarfanardo is a famous dwarven inventor. His latest ballista model is shown here in front of him.

goh_cmf14.jpg

Well, you know how life is in Mitgardia, especially in winter. So this young maiden has got work to do.

goh_cmf7.jpg

Sometimes husbands return late from the pub. Sometimes the wife is waiting.

goh_cmf6.jpg

A member of the City Guard of Brun's Fall. Wearing gloves against the Mitgardian bad weather.

He does not look too happy. Maybe somebody is waiting for him...

Avalonia:

goh_cmf11.jpg

The Dragon-Tamer has a hard job. If he's lucky the dragon can be fed by carrots. If not...

goh_cmf16.jpg

The Rogue: Don't trust him.

goh_cmf17.jpg

The Scissor Grinder is a traveling man. Good, when he is around.

goh_cmf19.jpg

The (human) Sentinel is keeping his eyes open.

Nocturnus:

goh_cmf20.jpg

The Drow Sentinel: A much-feared strangely-hatted warrior. His eyes are also open (but red).

goh_cmf8.jpg

The Mage is always trying to figure out what this spell scroll is about...

goh_cmf9.jpg

The Dark Crossbow Archer rarely misses.

Kaliphlin:

goh_cmf21.jpg

The Pastry Cook: Want some?

goh_cmf15.jpg

Maybe the Duke wants some pastry. However, currently he is happy with some honey he has received. Maybe coming from Mitgardia.

goh_cmf10.jpg

The Juggler can be seen in Kaliphlin at times. Some days are good, some aren't...

goh_cmf13.jpg

Excellent mushrooms can be found all over Kaliphlin.

I am looking forward to your comments!

Edit:

Does that allow to claim:

Anthropology

  • life in Avalonia
  • life in Mitgardia
  • life in Nocturnus?

The Happy Wife... hilarious

Love the comical tone of this series, the grinder, shovler and cook are my favorites

My favorite is the juggler. Spot on. There are some inspired ideas here, but I think you probably should have chosen a different shield for the Yeti (those are Avalonia colors he's flying!) and I think one or two of the Nocturnus 'figs could have used a bit more effort.

Yepp, the comical tone - that is very me

Good point. The Yeti initially had a different (more Mitgardian) shield. My wife suggested to change that (her fault   )

And I also thought that the crossbow archer needs something more. But my wife liked it that way.

To clarify: My wife is not like the one from Mitgardia.

Of course he's happy! That's good stuff, and unlike pastries, it's low-carb!

Seriously though, my favorites of your series are the juggler and the dragon tamer.

Nice, funny series! But you missed one: the gent down on the lower left of the group shot, with the Conquistador helm!

Thanks for mentioning. I'l correct it soon.

Thanks for your comments.

There are, of course, some minifgs that have not made the final selection of 16 - the "runners up".

Some of them I found quite interesting, so I'll bother you with them:

1) Here is the original Yeti:

2) The Unhappy Kaliphlin Carrot Customer: (very sad that he did not make it)

runnersup2.jpg

3) Avalonian bowman: (with kilt)

runnersup3.jpg

(his beard was too close to the dwarf inventor's beard)

4) Mitgardian Maid:

runnersup10.jpg

5) Kaliphlin Guard (you've seen him in Dunehill Castle)

runnersup4.jpg

6) Halfling Assassin:

runnersup6.jpg

7) Dwarf Artillerist:

runnersup7.jpg

8) Another Kaliphlin Guard:

runnersup8.jpg

(I thought he is interesting, but I had already used the helmet)

9) Unknown Soldier

runnersup5.jpg

10) Unknown Maid

runnersup9.jpg

I could not figure out what she looked like originally and whether I had created something with her or not...

Ok, that's about it.

Nice series here, I particularly like the rogue, juggler, and scissor grinder!

As for the UoP, I don't quite feel that I should give the credits; after all these are just minifigures from their respective builds and aren't really being shown living their lives.

Ok, point taken.

I'll come up with something else

I quite like the scissor grinder actually! My favourite though is the Drow sentinel!

I hope you noticed his red eyes
