computershopper Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) As my husband always makes me say after a trip to the local Toys r Us.... "hello, my name is Lee-Ann and I'm addicted to Lego!!". After lurking in the shadows for months I've decided to join and post on the site. Like many parents who played with it as a kid, I rediscovered Lego through my two girls but have quickly become obsessed with it and my interest has surpassed theirs. I am mostly interested in city and trains. I managed to get my hands on some 9v trains (4511,4559 and 4563),some manual crossings and 100+ pieces of track for cheap (all for $150) through local classified ads and I was instantly hooked. Prior to this I wasn't even aware Lego made trains... silly girl. Through the use of amazing sites like Eurobricks I was able to see what is available and what talented people are able to do with lego!! My ultimate goal is to make a town layout as inspired by some fellow lego fans. I visit the site often and am thankful for people's review and willingness to share their knowledge and insight. Thank you for such a great site!!! Computershopper Edited August 15, 2010 by computershopper

Zzz Posted August 15, 2010 Welcome to EB! Good to see some girls around! And yes, sigh... we are all addicted... I had to browse the set numbers and I very much like 4563, good set that is!! Try to find a Metroliner, most people (ahem, including me) say it is by far the best.. Have a good time here!
fred67 Posted August 15, 2010 "My name is Lee-Ann and I'm addicted to lego..." Hi, Lee-Ann! Welcome to Eurobricks... I'm also a fan of train and city (although more like modular and less play sets), so go to the train tech forums and join the registry. Cheers!
