Asper Posted November 9, 2014 Hello, This is not the first LEGO version of Tux. But this is mine :-) Most of the shape was given by LSculpt using the file from RepRap: reprap.org/wiki/Tux. It's approximately 50cm / 63 studs high. The original image was painted in 2D by Larry Ewing who grants permission to use his image on the condition that you tell anyone who asks that he painted it using The GIMP. The 3D version was modeled in Blender by Oliver Baker. Now I have 4 Tux, 3 of them made from LEGO... Some minifigure to get an impression what 63 studs mean: Building this way means building almostly without bricks, just plates. The shell is 2-3 plates thisk, with an internal structure: more images on my flickr Hope you like it, Steffen
