KimT, where did you find that tauntaun pic from the other thread? It looks like it might be real. Are there others?

Thanks!

I found it whilst searching brickshelf last night.

It's gone now, but the saying: "Right click and save - is your friend" proved right once more.

I'll attach it to this topic once more, and yes it looks real to me

Attachment coming up

Thank you KimT this is very good. I havent seen that taun taun pic before so, thanks. one thing that that bothers me is, that from what ive heard, the echo base has lots of figures and tauntauns. yet it has few pieces. how much do you think lego will overprice this?

Hard to say.

From what I've heard we're talking tauntaun, snowtroopers, rebels and Han Solo plus some white bricks.

A medium sized battle pack

Price is hard to say.. my personal guess would be "regular BP's" x2.

But that's just a guess.

Well that pics looks authentic to me :sweet: , thanks very much KimT  . The fact that it was taken down from Brickshelf just make it look more authentic also like darthperson mentioned. Also this are the reason why I think this is authentic:

- It has a Hoth background.

- Comes with the rumored Hoth Han.

- Looks pretty solid and not like a custom (I know there are some customs with extreme accuracy and that look like a real thing but they are just a few).

- Also the way the blaster is attached looks something that the TLC will do (I think that the persons that make customs would prefer to put some kind of cargo bag instead of just put the blaster with a brick supporting it).

That looks excellent in my opinion. Finally some new creatures in our LEGO-Star Wars universe.

I look forward to seeing the contents of the rest of the set. Thanks for posting KimT! :classic:

Drat! I missed it! Oh well... maybe now that that pic came up, we'll see some more! Everyone, scramble to brickshelf!

Also... when KimT cleaned this topic he erase my pictures of the Senate Commandos and Palpatine. But they have there own topic now.

It does look like they might have different colored clone helmets, but it seems they're open at the mouth and might have an opening with the classic faceless black head underneath, like the Episode III troopers.

If it's a black head they have, then I hope they have a face on the back, like the reversible heads but then you can change it when they put off their helmet so you don't see a shadow guy running around..

Well, they might make a special Captain Argyus, maybe... as for Palpatine I think he'll looke better in final form, because right now he can't get any worse! They'll probably have another set with Dooku (hopefully!) and there are 3 more comics following this, so there are a lot more minifigures to get previews of...

But then you'd all be complaining about cartoon faces.

IMO, I think Senate Commandos look kinda creepy when you see their faces.

The only Senate Commando that looks weird really is Argyus. I still think that the Palpatine is an odd Choice for the Venator, but oh well.

I think this was posted a while back, but I read that the Corporate Allience was to come with 2 501st with jetpacks and two Battle Droids.

For anyone who has the Hyena Bomber- What color are the Space Battle Droids? Dark Red? Dark Orange? Brown? It seems different in every pic I see.

Thanks!

It's not Exo-Force orange... I don't think I have any pieces the same color other than them, but it's like a medium brownish/orange. I'll go find other pieces the same color.

Here! Bricklink says it's the same color as this:

But I'm not sure because although I have the droids, I don't have the beard to compare!

I've just compared the droids and dwarves that piece. ) :classic:

I must say they are quite similar, but, in my opinion, the droids are a bit darker. )

Good day, gentlemen! ) :sweet:
