Wedge09 Posted August 3, 2016 Underground mine entrance in the mountains of Erilea. Selecting the mineral from the gangue outside the entrance of the underground mine. A messager coming... = = = = = = = = = Here we are with a medieval MOC I created for a little event there in my places. Had fun working on it, hope you like it guys! Enjoy! BrickCurve Posted August 3, 2016 Nice one. Adding some brown 1 x 2 plates to the landscaping would improve the landscaping quite a bit. Also, the rock edge on the left hand side edge of the quarry is a bit angular, adding more slopes would really improve it. The landscaping looks excellent! I think a flower stem on the centre of the bushes would make them appear more realistic as well.
Henjin_Quilones Posted August 4, 2016 (edited) Well done on the cliffs there. They look great! The top of the cliffs, however, in my opinion looks a little bland; a tree or two would help with that, I think, breaking up the plane of the top. Also, the working area could use some more texture, kind of what BC said above. I think a small hut could have been nice, too, but not necessary. Maybe a cart from inside the mine, dumping material? But it is a good base and you did a nice job on the elevation build-up as well. I also enjoy your figures. Overall, a good build! High Baron Vindavin Posted August 4, 2016 Very well done, You could add some more slopes to the rock-side on the left hand side of the quarry though.
Leonardo da Bricki Posted August 4, 2016 I think it looks good, but try to use some other parts besides 1x1 round tiles on the path to break it up a bit.
Isundir Posted August 4, 2016 Well done, I agree with everything that's been said, as for what Leonardo said you could use some 1x1 round studs for that to mix up with the round tiles.
soccerkid6 Posted August 8, 2016 Very cool mining scene The use of light and dark bley works well here, and I like your printed brick in the border
Exetrius Posted August 8, 2016 Nice work on the vegetation and the heads of small rock fragments (I presume)!

I tend to disagree on the slope since being partially digged it is more "regular" Noted the rest Well done on the cliffs there. They look great! It's bland on purpose, in medieval times woods are used both for "security" inside the mine as well as accessories and as fuel so since we are that close all trees has been chopped and used, only grass and low bush remains. There is a little sledge on the side of the miner selecting valuable ore from non valuable ore. There is a little sledge on the side of the miner selecting valuable ore from non valuable ore. Fair enough. I did not even see that little sledge. A good detail! I am glad that the barrenness was well-thought out, and that makes more sense. I guess I just like trees... Edited August 10, 2016 by Henjin_Quilones
