[fig MOC] Captain Kaizokuro

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I just want to share a figure I made, plus a little backstory for fun. :pir-classic: I rarely visit the pirate forum, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it.

22804980680_9f4ea50b94_z.jpgCaptain Kaizokuro

Once, this man served a nobleman who was known throughout feudal Japan. As a guard, he was one of the most trusted servants and so he he often accompanied his lord and the noble family. One day, he was ordered to guard the lord's wife and oldest son on business voyage to Hokkaido, on an armed ship. As soon as they entered open water, he killed the captain, send the wife and son in a little boat back to the main land and ruled over his new crew with a iron fist. Now, Captain Kaizokuro is the one of the greatest conquerors the Eastern seas have ever seen. He has won every battle with mainland forces, defeated countless pirate fleets, established dozens of oversea colonies and gathered mountains of treasures!

Have a nice day!

Your mini figure really looks like a ronin. And the story is thrilling, too. Is this your favourite mini figure? what did you use for the hat? I adore pirate theme. I advise you to move your captain Kaizokuro to the ninjago section.

I think the hat comprises of the old Space armor from UFO and/or Insectoids theme, White Epaulettes, King Kahuka's headdress plume, and something to keep it all together, propably a clip with stick, and something else...

Thank you, though is not my favorite minifig, it's one of my better ones. But why moving it to the Ninjago section?! That's really a completely different, fictional fantasy universe! Man, next time I'll think twice before posting something refreshing... :hmpf_bad:

So far so good, you almost cracked the code, sir  The 'something else' is a white hollow stud, the stud connects to the epaulettes below. The clip on a stick (new version with flat bottom) goes through it and attaches firmly to the head. In the shown orientation, it also prevents the only loose part (the armour) from turning freely.

Clever hat!

Thank you! :classic:

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it.

I also agree you found the right place. I would have moved it if I didn't think so. :pir-wink:

Your fig looks awesome! I love the pirate hat you built. You've got some real good piece usage. :pir-wub:

Insectoids armour for hat is NPU to the max! Very clever! very fun character! Refreshingly unique too!

The place is right for your posting - and the hat is amazing.

Thank you guys! pirate_classic.gif

Btw, I won't build a crew or a ship for Cap'n 'Kuro, so feel free to use him for a moc, a story or cameo, whatever, if you would like to.
