It's purpose is for me to mod into a offshore oil rig about 30 seconds after I buy it.

Before I saw the pic of 4210 I couldn't imagine what a "CG Platform" shall be. But after I saw the pic I did not yet know what that shall be in reality. Is it something like that? So TLG won't change it into an oil rig, am I right? Consequently I supposably won't regretabbly (be able to) buy it because I already want to buy the 7739 CG HQ and I haven't got enough money to buy both - apart from that 4210 is very similar to 4210. But it nevertheless will be of course a great set  !

If TLG releases a set like this which includes elements of an oil rig I hope that we'll get a real oil rig soon (as S@H Exclusive), too - that would be absolutely        !

They are    I'd say!
The only thing which I don't like that much is that the backwall of the big CG ship is open and that there is nearly no medical stuff downstairs in the ship   .
Otherwise it's   !

Yeah, i was hoping for some more instrument down there, too. But anyway, they just look great, the design is superb. There's even a bed and a wash basin in the tower! And all that neat equipment!

Edit: I just saw the wench of the helicopter is actually motorized! The rest of the interior is rather plain, but i can go with that. There seems to be a lot of building fun with that one!

Whung, the promo sets are awesome. I am supposed these are not sold as an impulse set like the rest. This new sets are very very nice addition to any city, especially the scrambler.

Wow, awesome news. Thanks Klaus-Dieter.

I'm amazed these are up so soon. When is the release date for Europe? I thought everything (Agents, Star Wars etc) was coming out in August or is that just the US?

Great find.

Thoughts so far:

The CG sets are a mixed bunch, I think. Some have great bits and not-so-great bits. The raft in 7738 is great but the helicopter is a mixed blessing. The tail plane is a disappointment but so are the (new?) helicopter blade pieces. Similarly with 7739 the ship is just a little too simple and the tower is a bit meh. I really like the smaller truck with boat though.

And the rocks in the final page... rock!

I totally agree with you, svelte!
The CG sets are   .
But: If only TLG wouldn't have been so unhandsome with the interior decoration of the petrol boat and the rescue helicopter  ! I would have prefered to pay some more Euros but get a very nice interior :cry_sad: .

Those new city sets look very promising! I like the feeling of the new CG line, it smells the holidays at the beach!
I want them all for sure!

Do you want to make holidays on a life raft in the meantime a shark swims around you?
No, of course I like the CG sets, too, and I probably will buy all non-promo ones.

On my must-list already are all CG sets except the quad bike, im not sure about that one yet. Btw. does anybody know the exact release date of the sets?

@lord santos: i'm sure they are hinting us one more time, in the past it has happened quite often that they put up new sets on S@H and a few minutes later they disappear again.

is this a new piece? I wonder if it means the end of the click hinges, since that one and a normal 1x1 with clip has the same result as they use in this set...
