Ahh, nice review of a some nice sets. But I do still have one question; what torsos do the jousting knights have under their armor?

Are these just sitting on shelves in your Lego Store? If they were anywhere besides the back room I'd expect they would sell out very quickly, no?

Nothing printed at all unfortunatly !!Plain and dull monochromatic torso |-/ Thats why I didn't bother to take pics :-P

I hope they will sell out quickly to show its a popular line !! Anyhow its too early to tell since they received those 3 sets wednesday and the King's Castle thursday (yesterday) !! I do have hopes since they look great and can really appeal too CC fans and kids !! (Unlike Mars Mission I would imagine since the humans crafts look great but the aliens are :-X Come on, the Blacktron colour scheme is really old !!).

Between all the new Star Wars and things like Cafe Corner and it's family, 2007 looks like a disaster financially, but one seriously good year for LEGO. Because of that, I had very seriously considered bypassing the new Castle sets.

That said, you sir are a foul and evil person. May legions of undead swarm your battlements, pillage your towns and carry off all your female minifigs. >:-)

In other words, now that I've read your excellent reviews, I will have to add these three sets to my already decimated budget.

Very nice review. Looks like you definitely hit the mother load of new sets. I was just at the LEGO store at downtown Disney yesterday and all I got were blank stares when I asked about new Star Wars, new Castle, new Space, new Technic, etc.

I agree about the color selection and the details even in these little sets. Looks like it will be a great theme.

I'm glad to see the shields are printed instead of stickers like what we saw the Castle set last year.

I think I might get the two small sets. I quite like the new skellies, and the ballista is very nice. The joust is quite good too, and the knight/king there looks great! As do the horses, especially the white one.

I'm seriously starting to hate you about now :'-( I'm sooooooooo jealous, I can't wait for the new castle line, I've been so excited for it! I hope the TRU back home has some in, as sort of an end-of-the-semester reward :-D

im really glad 7090 comes with a white horse...

the image at lego.com shows a black one ???

i thought they may have changed it last minute :'-(

i want some white horses for my Ghost Town,

but i can't find a use for the black ones, yet. 7090 will be a great way to get some cheap white skelie horses *y* *y* *y*

If there is ever a new Pirate line, I hope you will honor us by making the reviews!

I don't plan to buy the big (expensive) castle, but some of these smaller sets are on my list.

I want to get my hands om some of these new minifigs and weapons.

i want some white horses for my Ghost Town,

but i can't find a use for the black ones, yet.

I think one black horse might be good, to go with the black skeleton to show he's not just evil, he's super-evil. >:-)

Thanks for the reviews and pics, Im planning on getting multiple copies of these sets as soon as they show up at my local stores. I really like the new skeleton heads and the knight's armor. I think the black skeleton horseman should have a skeleton body rather than a regular minifig one.

All that shiny armory must be expensive to produce so I think the prices are real good. It has "Army Building" written all over it >:-)!

The more I see those new castle sets, the more I want them...

Maybe I will try to collect them all. After Vikings and aquaraiders, the new castle sets seem to be a good way for me for seeing something else than city. The only "problem" is that this line seems to have a futur (contary to vikings and aquaraiders), so it will be a longer-term investment...

TLC has and will kill a lot of wallets this year...
