Plutofish08 Posted October 4, 2008 Ah, the miracle of LEGO. Lets you make whatever you want. So anyway, after seeing Journey To The Centre Of The Earth with my brothers, I decided to make some minifigs of the characters from that movie: Sorry for the blurry pics: Hannah (Dibs on the mountain guide )And thats the only blonde long hairpiece I have Without backpack: Later in the movie: Sean: (I think his hair is black) Without backpack: And finally, Trevor: Without backpack: Later in the movie: So there you have it. And I know, I used the same Brendan Fraser head design as everyone else out there, but I swear I came up with it on my own. Later on, I will be posting some scenes (or vignettes, as you would call them) later on down the track. Please post comments, critisism and suggestions on how I could improve these figs.Coming soon: Trevor (Professor) and Mike (in the opening scene) Check 'em out on Brickshelf -Plutofish08
Zorro Posted October 4, 2008 They look nice, as far as I can see, because of the blurry pics. If you take a pic of a Lego minifig with a backpack, try to take it from the side or back...and use a white background (or at least an "even" one). But anyway, they look realistic and quite good at first sight.
Millacol88 Posted October 4, 2008 Good Figs. Does your camera have a macro function? If so, you should use it, I find it helps capture the minor nuances of very small/detailed subjects (I.E. minifigures). I haven't seen this movie, I have, however, read the book and quite enjoyed it. Keep up the good work.
Plutofish08 Posted October 4, 2008 I finally got the camera to work properly for me, so I posted new "Plutofigs " in a different topic in this forum. And once I get an EPIII Obi-Wan head, I will make Max Anderson (same movie)and post it here for you all to see
Lego12 Posted October 5, 2008 That looks pretty good, although they aren't the best minifigs.....it looks pretty good, though. Lego12
