Kerntechniker Posted February 12, 2012 My entry for the second round, the avalonian Embassy close to Barqa. From the seaside: From the land: There are buisy days: Carriages with new food arrive: Far away from home the commander has still some space for himself: The storage for the fort: C&C is always welcome. Zilcho Posted February 12, 2012 Really well done! I like how you have mixed the wood with stone in the fort's walls
Maxim I Posted February 12, 2012 Great scene!! The only thing my scout was a bit stunned by, was the amount of weapons in the embassy...
de Gothia Posted February 13, 2012 A great combination of wood and stone! Like how you did the different angels to the embassy! And the winds seems a little funny, looking at the two flags waving in differnt directions!
MikeyB Posted February 13, 2012 nicely done. Like the multiple angles and it seems a lively scene. Also like the river but perhaps it could use some details like some ripples in the water where the dock meets the river, or some barrels or crates waiting to be shipped out (or brought in?) Great job and hope to see more builds soon
Cij Daoke Posted February 13, 2012 Really nice embassy! I loved how you managed to fit the 32X32 baseplate in the layout. Looks very nice! Congratulations for the beautiful embassy!
Kerntechniker Posted February 13, 2012 Thank you for the nice comments, sometimes the wind is really crazy here :-). I hope, I will have more time for the next challenge. Currently I am from monday to friday in Finnland every week until mid of march. far, far away from everything I love Great scene!! The only thing my scout was a bit stunned by, was the amount of weapons in the embassy... All weapons are needed for defense reasons, only. No reason to be stunned. kabel Posted February 13, 2012 I certainly am glad you finally changed those waves, it looks much more natural like this!! I also like the great usage of the brown palisade, that's Avalonia for me!
Ecclesiastes Posted February 14, 2012 Great work on all those angles!
robuko Posted February 19, 2012 Very nice, a little slice of Burrium in the desert. Great use of that baseplate, and all your angles are lovely. The citizens of Barqa will be very happy to have you nearby. The flags are brilliant too, leaves no doubt who lives here!
Palathadric Posted March 3, 2012 A lot of these seem to look more like fortresses than embassies, but it's of no concern to me. I love the designs of these more fortress-looking ones. This one is really classic, I would say.
