Middle-Earth Madness - Lothlórien vs Mordor Battle Pack [Week 6]

Recommended Posts

This is sixth week of Middle-Earth Madness. Lothlórien Wins for a second week in a row but can it withstand an army builder?

If you had to pick only one Dream set, which would it be?

Lothlórien

OR

Mordor Battle Pack

Just like last week, these are dream sets so there is no hard or fast rule on what has to be included in either. Imagine you had a chance to greenlight just one LEGO Lord of the Rings set based on a simple description. Which one would you want?

Summary from previous week(s):

Week 5 - Lothlórien defeats Prancing Pony 23 to 13

Week 4 - Lothlórien crashes Mount Doom 35 to 5

Week 3 - Mount Doom defeats the Rohan Battle Pack 14 to 11

Week 2 - Rohan Battle Pack defeats the Watcher in the Water 14 to 7

Week 1 - Rohan Battle Pack defeats The Green Dragon 23 to 4.

Probably Mordor battle pack since we now know we are getting Galadriel in a Hobbit set. A Lothlorien would probably have a better build with a nice structure in a tree, but a Mordor Orcs battle pack would have way better figures with new armor and prints for the Mordor Orcs so my vote has to go there.

Mordor Battle Pack, because it is a Battlepack (and only if there are new armors, helmets and weapons, maybe an Olog-Hai too).

A Mordor Battle Pack would certainly have orcs, preferably in new prints. Maybe the other factions such as Haradrim or Easterlings could show as deskp has mentioned. Maybe include a mounted Nazgul to lead them? After all, I never bothered to buy 5 Weathertops to get them all. Like others have said, the inclusion of Galadriel in the Hobbit sets helps sway this decision, thus the Morder Battle Pack.

Wow, tough call. If a Mordor battle pack was battle pack sized, it wouldn't be so big, whereas a Lothlorien set worthy of the name (ie not "The Mirror of Galadriel") would have to include a couple of decently sized mallorn trees. So Lothlorien it is again, just.

Definitely Mordor Battle Pack. Orcs with new prints/armor and Easterlings seem way more interesting than Galadriel, especially since she is about to be released in a Hobbit set.
