Hi everyone :pir-sweet:

I present you my last creation, the lighthouse of Whitecap Bay and its mermaids, I was inspired by this picture

"Aye, Whitecap Bay! Every worthless seaman fears the name, and rightly so, though few know why or dare to ask."

"Be the stories true?"

"Say what robs you of your staunch heart Gibbs, or forever leave it to the whiter fields of fancy."

"...Mermaids, captain?"

- Hector Barbossa and Joshamee Gibbs

It is undoubtedly the biggest MOC I have ever realized, the lighthouse is more than 35 cms (14 inches).

I hope it will please you ! :pir-blush:

Wow, This is very cool!

Sand beach, tower, everything looks spot on. The textures are great as well, looks like a screen shot form a movie or game.

Great work

Beautifully done and excellent presentation to match. The lighthouse looks great in those colors and the smoothness of the wooden parts is nice. My favorite part of the main photo is the sand - it looks incredibly real from this angle. Those layered plates work well for all parts of the base. The other details, both on land and in the water, are nice as well. This is a superb version of the scene and if it was an official set I'd buy it! Excellent work.

Great build. The lighthouse is well done. The water and mermaids details seem to be blown out on my screen.

It surely pleased me, it's a super lighthouse. So keep on creating. Try to upload it in LEGO Ideas - lots of fans will support it, I for one, to have it in my LEGO collection. Let me know your nick there if you follow my advice.

Phenomenal MOC! I really like the reversal of the typical "light bley with dark accents" to the opposite in the lighthouse tower. thumbup.gif

An outstanding and cleanly build MoC as always TBA! The lighthouse is very well textured to give it a weathered look and I love the minifig hands as broken rails in the railing. I do think however, that blue water may have complimented the build better as the trans clear is lost in the white.

Build on!

Awesome and instantly recognizable.

Detailed, well textured, great water technique, and an interesting tower build. default_drool.gif

Keep up the good work my friend.

This is so excellent and amazing, the only minor detail you forgot was gunner on the boat, but it's ok he won't fit lol

A well deserved front page creation, I keep forgetting to check in the pirates forums for great mocs like this, a great reminder for me to always pop my head in for inspiration, I like how you've broken up the tower wall with cheeses and jumpers. Well done!

I like your tower very much -I have already wrote about it. You uploaded it using Brickshelf account. I've got 16 posts and an account but I can't log in. Do you know why? I can't find any answer, sorry. Please use your experience to help a newcomer

Very nice! I am curious how you handled the underside, could I get some pictures of the bottom? (Not as "pretty" but sexy to us builders!"

Thanks!
