Hello from Pennsylvania

Checking in from Pa.

I've been lurking a bit here and really like this forum. My Lego experience is pretty much limited to these recent past few months preceded by what appears to be called 'my dark ages' (which was decades long), and that single set I had when I was a kid that contained 2 or three colors of bricks and no specialized parts. OK, I might have bought a creator set here and there over the last ten years. Two maybe. They weren't really enough to kick off any great interest for me though. What really got me going were the Cars2 sets. I haven't (searched) found a lot of topics on them here but their ultimate popularity level doesn't matter to me 'cause I think they're great. I can definately tell that this thing is gonna cost me but at the very least...it'll be fun.

Thanks.

Dr Spock, I like the car that's a character. I guess my favorite toys were always cars and trucks when I was a kid so when I bought the 8200 McQueen set I was instantly hooked. I had to get them all after that. This lead me to Racers as well, which I also really like. Wish I didn't miss pretty much all of it.

Welcome to EB! :classic: Well, once you've bought up all of Cars and Racers, you can always move into City. Plenty of fans and sets there. Enjoy the site!

Thank you all for the welcome.

Brickdoctor, I'm up to date on the Cars sets and working on Racers. I like the 1:55 Racers a lot. The sets that make larger cars and the sets that have the foot stomping thing...not so much. I'm sure I'll branch out but as to what I don't yet know. I did see one cool City set though :sweet:

We'll see.
