No wonder TRU is basically giving these away!

Got a free Ben10 set today when I bought the TRU Semi Truck set and City Advent calendar, and I can't imagine paying $15 for such a thing, even if I was a fan of Ben10!

For $15 you would have recieved about 20 pieces that don't resemble LEGOs in any way. :(

Might just give this to a kid on the neighborhood...

I'll take it if you don't want it. I kinda like Ben 10 (please don't hate me!), and Lego is Lego to me. Which one is it?

I myself actually thought that the Ben 10 parts are more consistent with regular LEGO than BIONICLE parts, since they have broad, smooth surfaces instead of heavy detailing like pistons and the like. Of course, arguably they have far fewer connection points, but I'm sure you can find some use for the parts.

I hope Tru keeps this going for a while. Even though I can't stand the show, I've been wanting to get a Ben 10 set for a while now. They look pretty cool as action figures, and I'd love to get some of the limbs.

I would have tried some for the parts if not for the freak-expensiveness.

Even glatorian pricing would at least be acceptable, but 15 is just too much.
