Katniss Everdeen: The Girl Who Was on Fire

''Whatever vague plan I had conceived regarding returning to my pond is wiped from my mind as I zigzag and dive and leap to avoid the fireballs. Each one is only the size of an apple, but packs tremendous power on contact. Every sense I have goes into overdrive as the need to survive takes over. There's no time to judge if a move is the correct one. When there's a hiss, I act or die.'' - The Hunger Games

The Star-Crossed Lovers of District 12

'"Handsome lad like you. There must be some special girl. Come on, what's her name?" says Caesar.

Peeta sighs. "Well, there is this one girl. I've had a crush on her ever since I can remember. But I'm pretty sure she didn't know I was alive until the reaping." Sounds of sympathy from the crowd. Unrequited love they can relate to.

"She have another fellow?" asks Caesar.

"I don't know, but a lot of boys like her," says Peeta.

"So, here's what you do. You win, you go home. She can't turn you down then, eh?" says Caesar encouragingly.

"I don't think it's going to work out. Winning... won't help in my case," says Peeta.

"Why ever not?" says Caesar, mystified.

Peeta blushes beet red and stammers out, "Because... because... she came here with me." - The Hunger Games

Nice! I think the hairpiece that they gave to Princess Leia in the recent Tyderium set would also work really well for a movie-accurate Katniss when she has her hair braided at the reaping. Also, a small nitpick, but Katniss doesn't actually have her bow or arrows until after running away from the fireballs. The fire makes her run into the careers and then she indirectly kills Glimmer to get the bow

I don't know anything about the Hunger Games, but that bow using Dooku's saber is brilliant.

Great little vignettes. I love the greenery, they really capture the environment well.

Cool vignettes! I've been waiting for some hunger games MOC's! Great job!

Thanks both! :sweet:

Thanks! This scene is interpreting the fireballs, not the wall of fire, but even then I don't think she had her bow and arrows until the tracker jacker attack. (which is a scene I might make, along with the reaping and the Cornucopia)

Thanks! I was hoping someone would notice. And you should really start reading the series; best books I've ever read! (surprisingly, I haven't even seen the films  )

Excellent work!

Thank you! :classic: Edited by Sir Brickalot

That bow is really fantastic. You should watch the movies, they do a great job of following the books pretty accurately.
