Hi

thats simply to guess ;)

For you as dutch its the same for me as german: Its always those sets that are combined at list prive above 55€, e.g. 60€ (29,99 + 29,99) for Anakins fighter and Grievous Whee) but with 10% discount its both together slightly below 55€ ;) Clever...

It happened to me thrice :(

So this year it will be the Skyhopper and the Hailfire Droid. Wanna bet? :D

Interesting to see that the offer runs for a lot longer this year than it did previous years (8 days this year compared to the normal 2 or 3 days). Hopefully I'll be able to take advantage of the offer this year - hope the Wookiee Gunship is included with the 10% off offers as that is the only SW set still on my wanted list, but it probably won't be :sadnew:

Funny I didn't get this through my door today - maybe I don't need any more encouragement to spend tons of money direct through their retail channels :look:

Do the promos apply to the AU shop? Also is there any indication of the availability of the Yularen figure, will it be hard to get for a good price after MTF?

I hope the discounts apply to some large sets. I'm thinking of buying my largest sets ever this year.

I'm also looking forward to the poster. As I understand it, they're giving away "LEGO-ized" versions of Drew Struzan's movie posters, one for each of the six episodes (LEGO versions of his 1997 20th anniversary / special edition posters for the OT movies, plus the subsequent release 1-sheets for the PT). Apparently all six will be given away at Star Wars Celebration this week in Anaheim, and from LEGO Stores following that starting with May the Fourth, but as far as I can determine, they're doing just one of them; I don't know for sure, but I think they might give away a different one each month, for the next six months, so that we get them in sequence (and if so, that would mean we'd get the last one in October... by which time the poster art for Episode VII would surely be ready; might there then also be a new poster given away in November?). Does anyone here know if this is how it's going to work?

The promos will most certainly be the same here. Might be 15% off or 10% for us. Plus you'll need to spend over $75AUD to get him then $200 for free postage  Hopefully they'll lower it like last year for the event.

Usually a lot of re-sellers get the figs and sell them for about $20-$40 AU on eBay and Bricklink. They stay around that price for a while unless they're a popular figure.

The UK has had 10% off UCS sets in the past (I'm sure I got Red 5 discounted last year). The US don't seem to get as lucky. If there's 10% off the sandcrawler I may pull the trigger, but otherwise I don't think I'll be getting anything this May (waiting for the Shuttle later this year). It will be too soon to offer a discount on Slave 1 IMO.

I hope they will finally discount Ewok Village. To my mind, it has never been discounted yet.

10% great....

Doesn't even cover the tax

And I think that last yeae it was 15%...

I just hope TRU keeps that 25% from last year or no Lego for me this year :cry_sad:

I've purchased from the AU shop before from this promotion and even buying non-SW stuff I got the bonus figure and poster, so don't worry - they will be available. I usually sold the figures online for about $20 as part of my "discount" - however this year there's nothing I want to buy but I actually want the figure for a change!

So what are people planning on picking up for the May the Fourth promotion this year ?

Very probably the AT-AT.

The Slave I.

I really want to put the Slave I at the top of my priority list, but because it's a UCS, I realized that there is no rush to buy it. That set will be on shelves for a while, so I *might* skip it for this year.

Right now, TFA sets will be of highest priority, Oh, and Tyderium.

Hey guys. I have only recently come back to collecting Lego Starwars and just wondering how long these May the 4th exclusives last for. Is it just the day?
