I am not the type makes fun of other peoples work but I have to say your custom is really bad a helmet from an A or B wing, a brown weapon for brickarms and a sword from brickfoge also a really badly painted torso and a green fuzzy thing. sorry but this is an epic fail.

--> Please give Soman a break. Soman is young guy and it's his first time he tries something like this. We all have to start somewhere... with other words, we all have to crawl first, then walk and then run. Maybe in the future he will amaze us with his work. Constructive criticism was perhaps better placed instead of the given comment. And please be carefull with the smilies, in particular the green one ( )!!!

--> Please soman don't let this one comment hold you back from posting other creations. Clone Killer probably don't mean this bad and just has given he's honest opinion. But like I said; constructive criticism was perhaps better placed !!!

We try to encourage people on Eurobricks, so even if something is not your favorite you should still try to present some positive feedback along with what needs work. At least provide some ideas that Soman could use to improve his creation.

Keep at it Soman, I'd love to see more work from you! :classic:

This is interesting for a first try, soman. I'm sure you will find many tips and tool on how to improve/enrich your style here in the Minifig Customization Workshop :classic:

@ everybody - just a reminder that even if honest criticism is always part of the discussion, we'd like to see also some encouragement and some comments on how to improve one's creations along with it. Thanks all and keep showing us the products of your imagination

Not too bad for a first try. I like the rubber band technique, an old beauty that one is. A few pointers: Use decals instead of.... paint, and that applies mainly to torsos, as some legs, like my Marines posted a while back, need small details such as boots, so you could paint those on. That.....green thing, what is it? If you were trying to make a waist kama, LEGO has those that come with most sets with Clones, and Brickforge, I think, is releasing a softer one at Brickworld tomorrow. If you don't know how to make a decal, you can always check out the tutorials or request one in the Decal Wish List thread.

Hope that you take those pointers to heart and let you next fig MOC be a great one. :classic:

Nice rubber band technique. I think it would be better if you used decals instead of paint, because the paint is a little rough. Also, the gun and sword work well. But I just have to say it, that green thing really doesn't work!

So, all in all, I'd give this an 8/10. The two points off come from the green thingy and the paint. Nice job for a first try!

I like that helmet. I can use it for my robots.:look:

Is it custom or from a set?

Oh, and the minifigure too me is pretty awsome. :sweet: Just take of the green fuzz and paint it a little better, and your set! :pir-classic:

I support my friend clone killer.

Good to see you back here, exxtrooper

Do you have any further advice you can give? That comment isn't very contributive to the discussion :look:

A decal would go nice here, but I don't see the idea with the fabric or the sword, maybe try a light grey torso and legs, with some yellow highlights for matching the helmet.

It's either from an A-wing or B-wing. I forget which.
