MOC: What good is a town without a LEGO store...

Recommended Posts

I decided to start building a new style of buildings and try some old European style wooden beam buildings and built a LEGO store so my townsfolk have somewhere to buy their LEGO!

Here is my store:

Hahah, totally awesome! You put a lot of detail into this, and it looks really nice! I especially enjoy the Pick-A-Brick wall and storage area, details that even an official LEGO set would probably not put in. :D

Great moc! I love the pick a brick wall and cups! Very creative and the whole feel just works out perfect. It has a very down to earth and warm feel to it. Like a building you would find in a small town or village while walking down town. Very nice!

Nice, next to all the interior detailing, I also like the color scheme used on the walls of the building. One question, what are the technic bricks in the shelves supposed to represent (not technic sets I assume  )?

If you look closely at a picture of the real store the little technic holes represent the little windows with small displays in them, the larger windows are the desplays for sets:

(best pic I could find that shows the shelves with display windows)

This is great. I like the use of stickers on the awnings out front and the PAB wall. You got the over all hectic feel of my local lego store too with all the people trying to get the newest sets.

That's an great MOC, Polish Guy!

I really  it!

The exterior (mainly the front with the entrance) looks very realistic and you included a lot of details in- and outside! :oh:

The most I like the PaB wall.

A Lego Store is really one of the most important sets TLG should release for City!

Very well done!

Very nice little store, and the brown and yellow is a good combo.

Wait, wouldn't a Lego store be like a supply store, because they build homes out of them

Nice design. It is the nicest LEGO store I have seen. One question: How did you attach your Pick-a-Brick wall to the ground?

Here ya go:

Its two headlight bricks attached together on a 1x1 plate on the floor (1x2 plate in pic to stand it up) and then has a white edge to cover it in the building, the sides fit into a slot in the wall.
