In any case, what an incredibly odd set. It's just another lame Micro-Manager, but if it's like $13 I'd certainly consider picking it up just for the Uni-Kitty, as would others. I can still hope for a new Batman headprint that reflects the film too, though it's quite unlikely.

The set doesn't look totally unique, but it's good if you want to army-build Skeletrons and Micro-Managers. New Angry Kitty too!

I wonder what other LEGO Movie sets we might expect in January!

How did you get to three? It's more like one with a double-sided print, but I guess that could count as two. The angry one is in a new non-exclusive set.

@Clone Opatra: I thought the set on the right was exclusive as well The article may say otherwise, but I'm still not sure whether it really will be a regular set, it does look like what you'd expect from a SDCC exclusive Besides, aren't the regular set reveals supposed to happen during the Con?

My guess is the weird but awesome submarine is going to be set :D

I wouldn't mind the dog dome either (+ the batmobile & piggy coach)

Can't really think of essential sets beside those to fill up a decent wave.

I honestly didn't expect that they'd keep this line going into 2015, but it seems to make sense the more I think about it. The set itself is okay, and is a nice way to get Angry Kitty, but that's about it (assuming Bats doesn't have a new face). Though getting the Bat Gun is cool too. There seems to be a lot of untapped potential from the film they haven't used yet, so I'm definitely looking forward to this new wave.

If that is the entire set, I'm guessing it will be between $15-20. Surprisingly, I would be very happy if they made Shaquille O'Neal's basketball catapult. It got even more film time than Thunder and Lloyd! Or they can make a small set of

The Man Upstairs' LEGO room. It could include Ferrell, Finn, micro-figure Emmet, micro-figure Lord Business, and a table with the skyscraper. It would give us all new figures (I'm surprised that Ferrell and Finn haven't appeared as exclusives yet).

I didn't actually like the main characters in the film (hoping the 'sequel' will actually be a completely different set of characters, in particular an Adventurers theme). However, I did like the fact that several sets provided vehicles, etc, to be used in non-Lego Movie environments, such as the ice cream van. Hopefully any future sets will contain new minifigures, in particular civilians, rather than just more of what we already can buy now.

No one want the Western Town? Okay, but to be realistic it doesn't mean there would be another wave to be the filler between TLM1 and the sequel. If it comes, this is the best Xmas gift for us.

I'm not really a fan of citizens, though I agree with the customization point. I'm inclined to see more veteran master builders. For the main characters, obviously those who joined later didn't achive their full potentials. I'm not sure if that would be entirely possible, since LEGO seems to have been using the new MF mold for the ghost shroud, and may not want to reverse that. Plus what would we get him in? The already made the Evil Lair set, and I think he's only seen again in that last shot of the movie

I do agree that the Sub would be a very cool set, though. And it is nice to see that Emmett doesn't have to be in every set. Now someone just needs to tell the Super Heroes line to leave out Batman like that every once in a while.

Wishful thinking.

As crazy as the demand was for Cloud Cuckoo, largely because that was the set with her in it, coupled with the extremely limited availability of SDCC exclusives, I'd be surprised if she isn't actually significantly more expensive than recent figures.
