dan76 Posted May 31, 2016 Hello! I have created new Gondor soldiers UV printed minifigures: the design is directly printed on the torsos by UV printing, no stickers at all. I love this technic, the render is very similar to TLG technic. What do you think?
gilvader Posted May 31, 2016 Nicely done. If the legs and arms had detailing too it would be perfect.
thebluecrusader Posted May 31, 2016 Leg Decals really irritate me, I tried once when applying them to a green goblin figure recently and they eventually peeled when I tried to move the legs. Unless it's for display that is...
Wardancer Posted June 1, 2016 Wow, the print looks very detailled and durable. And very true to the original. Personally, I never managed to accept gray as being metal though. That is why I never did any decalling, without metal shine I could not imagine it.
RAKRONDEWL Posted June 2, 2016 That is really cool, the fact that you don't have to worry about peeling stickers is very appealing.
PUrePLS Posted June 2, 2016 How does UV printing fare comparing to the traditional pad printing?
dan76 Posted June 2, 2016 Not really expensive, you can have torso + legs for 5 EUR

dan76 Posted June 2, 2016 Probably I'll do legs too...
