MAB Posted May 6, 2016 We really need a (non-armour) piece to connect wings so they look less like back-packs.
HawkLord Posted May 6, 2016 Looks great. Very classic fantasy or Diablo-like.
Wardancer Posted May 6, 2016 If you are not afraid of drilling, you can make holes in the back and put hands in.
ACPin Posted May 6, 2016 We really need a (non-armour) piece to connect wings so they look less like back-packs. The trans-clear piece that comes with Lavaria is probably the best option right now. Looks great. Very classic fantasy or Diablo-like. She rules over the demonic faction that's currently in progress. If you are not afraid of drilling, you can make holes in the back and put hands in. Sorry not for me. AC
AmperZand Posted May 6, 2016 (edited) Both pictures in this thread thus far are cool! The NK villains make great devils/cambions. We really need a (non-armour) piece to connect wings so they look less like back-packs. Already exist. Neither of my winged devils have bulky backpacks/armour or holes in their backs: Edited May 6, 2016 by AmperZand
Wardancer Posted May 8, 2016 So what do they have on their backs?
AmperZand Posted May 8, 2016 This piece by SI-DAN: http://www.minifigcat.com/shop/home.php?cat=499 The image at that site makes it look bulkier than it is. In reality, it's pretty sleek. Kre-o do a version that's not quite as good but still better than LEGO's. It consists of a back bracket (like LEGO's) but with a 1 x 1 plate with two clips. Hope that helps. MAB Posted May 11, 2016 (edited) Already exist. Neither of my winged devils have bulky backpacks/armour or holes in their backs: Of course non-purist solutions exist. For mine, I file off the stud from regular neck brackets and glue two hands with the wrists cut off onto the bracket. Edited May 11, 2016 by LuxorV Please do not quote images from the same page. Thank you.
AmperZand Posted May 11, 2016 Of course non-purist solutions exist. For mine, I file off the stud from regular neck brackets and glue two hands with the wrists cut off onto the bracket. There's non-purist with and without modification. The OP's picture shows a non-purist minifigure without modification and the OP goes on to say in post 7 that he prefers not to modify, so I provided solutions that fit those criteria. I have to say that I'm with the OP on this one. I'm happy to use non-purist parts but not keen on modding which I only do when I can't avoid it (e.g. yellowing fleshy LotR/Hobbit elf ears).
