Deep in Lego City, a crook is fleeing the scene of the crime! Who do the people call? The brave police officers, of course!

But will his super fast car be enough? Or will the nice cop be left in the dust? Let's find out!

Name: Police Car(real original, Lego  )

Theme: City

Year: 2007

Pieces: 59

Minifigs: 1

Price: USD 5.99

MSRP: USD 5.99, GBP 3.89, CAD 7.99

The box

Front. Sorry for bad box. I rather like the longer packaging, although TLC only uses 40% of the box. :hmpf_bad:

Back, showing the car with the cop inside and the radar gun thing. Again, very sorry for box.

Actual size! I always thought these 'actual size' pics were worthless, myself.

Instructions

Front. Note: Police Officer has yellow hands, not black. Highly understandable instructions, clearly aimed at a younger audience.

Back. Same as the first side, um well... You know what I mean... :look:

Minifigure

I really like this minifig. My 3rd or 4th cop, I really can't enough of them.It really could have used a belt print.

The Build

Just a few more steps until completion. The build was very quick and easy, 3 minutes tops.( 5 if you built in in the car, like moi :alien: )

Cop Car

Profile. I hated applying those stickers. The design was pretty good. Very <insert that tiresome argument>.

Second verse same as the first!( Really, exactly the same as the other side. It's a mystery why I even put this side in here  )

Back. Glad to see a bumper! Especially with taillights. Even the law needs to have proper signals!

Set in Full

Overall, a nice set. The radar gun is wierd, if not badly designed. Filler is all it is, really.

The Final Verdict

Design: 7/10 Very <insert that tiresome argument>, but what do you expect from a $6 set?

Build: 8/10 Very quick and easy, no interesting techniques.

Playability: 8/10 It's a cop car with a cop. It could have used a bandit, but oh well :sceptic:

Minifigures: 9/10 Love this minifigure! Only thing that could have helped would be a belt print on the legs.

Price: 10/10 At $5.99, it's dead on the price for piece ratio(1 piece=10 cents)

Overall: 8/10 Overall, a great set.The price to piece ratio is great, and the minifigure rules. The only thing that could have improved it would be a bandit.

Parting Shot

Even after 500 years, the force hadn't changed much.

Thanks Prateek! This was my first RA review, so it's not that great.

I have 4 of these. 2 turned cop cars, 1 turned civilian, and 1 still in box.

Has all the basic parts you need to make a simple CITY car. Hence, I buy lots, and will probably buy more.
