Keld's Clear-Thinkers' Ale - AoM: Inn Phase I

Recommended Posts

Keld sets out with his cart to sell his Clear-Thinkers' Ale, otherwise known as apple cider. It is said that Keld makes the best apple cider in all of Historica. Two patrolling Mitgardians stop for a drink, and Keld joins them in enjoying the fruits of his labors. Finding success with his sales, Keld begins to dream of bigger things for the future...

C&CC welcome!

This is a similar design to the cart I used for my horse mill, incorporating fixes for the portions I was not satisfied with.

Edit: Updated the first three photos with better photo editing.

Oh yeah, this is really nice. The cart is really funny but the base really does it for a phase I build. Excellent moc Sir!

Love the cup rack on the cart. What a great idea for any intrepid ale-seller.

Nice build, and nice idea! The cart looks great, and I like all the goblets lined up along the side, it shows that he's ready for business!

I really like this build, especially those goblets lined up!

What's with the color balance though? It looks orange-ish.

Fun build! The landscape work is really well done.

I agree with mrcp6d; the color balance looks a bit off.

Thanks for the compliment, kabel!

Nice work! Cool cart, and the base is great. Nice figs too.

Thanks, Lord Vladivus!

Thanks, Mestari! I do not know the reference, though.

Nice cart! Great work!

Thanks, Alfadas!

Thanks, mccoyed! I like how the cup rack turned out. I was looking for something to add a little "spice" to the cart, and realized that he needs cups for serving.

Really nice cart :) I like terrain as well, can't wait for phase 2 :)

Thanks, lenjoyLego! Phase II will be completed in the future after I finish all phase I builds.

Thanks, Hammerhand! He is indeed ready for business, even many people (12?) at one time.

I like this cart. Makes me feel like drinking already!

Thanks, songwm!

Thanks, mrcp6d! I somehow messed up the photo editing (in the dark at about midnight...). I did not notice it until I viewed the photos while posting to Eurobricks. Each time I look at this post, I notice how bad they look to me, especially the first one, so I will be replacing at least the first three photos when I get the chance. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks, SarahJoy! I definitely messed up the photo editing, especially on the first photo. Every time I see it, that is the first thought that runs through my head. I will be redoing these photos to correct for the imbalance. Thanks for the feedback!

Great cart, I love it's design, with all the glasses attacked to the side, maximizing the use of the space. The base is also very well done :)

Great landscaping and nice cart design, it is certainly an improvement on your last one :thumbup:

Excellent idea with apple cider, the goblets on the side of the cart and with incorporating the guild colors - looking forward to phase II :classic:

This has such a classic castle feel to it, yet the touch of 2014 in it! I just love it!! The irregular base, the wagon and the minifigs! Just wow!
