[WZ8: L11, Ulandus] - Floating Defence

Recommended Posts

Nar Bilu takes his army on a short journey south to the Delta of the Qar-Akhen River. It seems that band of soldiers try to pass security and move inlands at a small bay leading to the main river. Nar commands his troops to set up a blockade within the river bay. With the little resources at hand the men build a few connected floating towers.

One of the archers approaches Nar Bilu and warns him for incoming troops. In the shallow waters of the bay, armoured men try to sneak up. Within range of the towers the Serpent Spearmen arise ploughing the tips of their spears between the breastplates of every soul within reach.

Before the commander is able to retreat his men, the water has turned from clear blue to deep red. Shields and bodies float to shore, while sword sink to the bottom. They will think twice before taking this route again.

Very nice concept and good work with the floating blockade! The round outposts look really nice as well!

Grizzly... but a mighty fine build. The river banks and the blood in the water are fantastic

Another great build, Narbilu! Your rounded bastions and landscaping is great, and I really like the way you have made the water flow around the bastions. Looks like the river flows quite rapidly around them!:classic:

Should not these wonderfully effective creatures be fighting for the Desert King?

I really like the blood in the water.

Thanks for all your positive feedback Guys and galls. I know, looking back I would have choosen Dessert King, if I knew up front that my army would change into lizard/snakes... :)

Great idea! The water turned out really well, also the blood effect. It's nice to see at least one battle without participation of Desert King Forces
