Peppermint_M Posted October 14, 2011 6115 Shark Scout Was one of my first two System sets. Here it is. I loved it. It would sit on my chest of drawers when I wasn't playing with it. I have long had the parts and even bought a second one recently to have one made up on display. Then I thought, it's Underwater Month, why not celebrate. So I built a Neo version, a redux. I hope you like it as much as I do! More on Brickshelf when moderated

Peppermint_M Posted October 15, 2011 Oooo shinyful! Thanks Icey! I am not very good at photoshop-fu. Glad you like it. I just had to build it after I found the blue cowling. I want to build the other set I had too, so stay tuned for that one.
Legostein Posted October 16, 2011 Hello! A very nice redesign of the set, and also very inspiring in terms of more underwater redesigns. Cheers, ~ Christopher
Cpt. Dan Posted October 27, 2011 Awesome job on the Redux! I too remember having this set. It was by far one of the best smaller sets I ever owned. I got so much play out of this one and one other Aquasharks set myself (name/number of set escape me). I can totally relate. Thanks for sharing this awesome MOC! Rocketbilly Posted October 27, 2011 I remember liking this set so much when I was little that I tried to make it out of my existing sets, luckily, I had a similar set from this theme (I called them the "No Sharks" sets back then ) so my effort wasn't actually that bad. This is a really nice redux, and I can easily see it as part of one of LEGO's themes - it could even be an Atlantis set if it was built in a different colour scheme and had the obligatory flick-fire missiles. Nice work! brings back some fond memories, too.
