Part positioner Tool for LDD?

Recommended Posts

Hi

is there any possibility of having a better way to finley move parts in LDD rather than editing the LFXML file directly.

Maybe a program can give us either a 3d model of the part and 3 fields, X Y and Z position, or it can let us drag the part around by clicking the 3d model?

The program simply writes back the co ordinates to the LXFML file/.

The program must be able to work the same data as whats in an LXFML file in order to get the co ordinates of the part ive positioned and then write it to the LXFML file but that shouldnt be too hard. Since programs such as LDRAW use a simular co ordinatedata structure.

The program could also select the part, color and rotation prior to saving it to the LXFML file.

That is extremely good idea, few hour before I was asking for something that would enable us - LDD users - set bricks X/Y/Z/R coordinates by hand, but your idea is even better...I am all for that!:thumbup:
