The Battle of Thedo Isle.

This is my first in many stories.I hope you enjoy it!

Thedo Isle... the Island was recently hit by a terrible storm causing most of it to sink.The British had set up a town there, and would soon re-settle it, having most of it destroyed. However, other's had something else in mind.No good Pirate's, led by Redbeard himself, had made it a favourite treasure Isle.They were deading to the isle, Redbeard's personal sloop "Razor" in the lead.Followed behind it was on one side the Black seas Barracuda, on the other was SES, and in between them the treasure ship Consa. Bringing up the rear was the Cross-bone Clipper. Captain Phaunsaus of the BSB looked at there progress.30 mile's and nothing bad he thought, and looked at there emerging destanation, Thedo.They were emerging from between a canyon when Razor recieved a humongus Splash, when the captain figured out what happened, Razor already returned fire.

Up ahead, he saw it. The French had come to capture the weakened British, but the British were here fighting them.Although he couldn't make them out, he knew the British out-gunned the French, and mabye them. Soon all ship's had top sail's.As they got within firing range, the giant Jolly-Roger on the SES was raised.Then there was a BOOM! Every time you blinked. Soon they broke into group's.The French had brought the Carribean Clipper,While the Brittish had the Imperial Flagship and Oudyss.The Uudyss had five gun's, making it hard to attack.Oudyss drew fire from the SES, BSB and the Razor.However, the SES after a while starting chasing the Carribean Clipper. The Oudyss had drawn so many broadside's to the Prow, it crumbled, reaveling her true Color's.

The Oudyss was once a new KIND of ship, one that had a huge raming prow to destroy a cities defence's, however, in a siege on a Brittish town, Spain used this design with the ship Conul'ai.As the ship neared the cities stone wall, it started being attatked and thrashed al over.After Rammed only once or twice, the crew wisly moved away as it was starting to turn into a fireball.The Brittish King saw the Conul'ai escaping by dumb luck, and halted the Oudyss construction. It later merged with the Under Construction Phonala.

The ship's ram was kept as a weapon, now it was It rammed headfirst into the BSB.The BSB quikley gained water.Oudyss now was chasing Razor. After a little cat-and-mouse, Oudyss hit the Razor, in the stern.Althought it looked only glancing, the Razor Spun like a top.Meanwhile, the BSB was about to beach when at the last second it fell on her side.

Meanwhile, the CBC and the Consa had been attacking the IF when they saw the beached BSB and Poor Razor Spinning the went off to help.CBC to help the Razor, and the Consa to help the BSB.The Imperial Flagship went to help Oudyss.

Captain Conalara on the Razor was gaging everywhere, it felt like the one time Captain stupid led them off that Waterfall.

The Captain on Oudyss was yelling with joy, this was the last thing he needed before he was promoted Admiral! :'-)

The SES was finishing the Carribean Clipper when they saw Razor, and went to help, the CC went to attack the British.Soon the SES was hitting Oudyss, and vice-versa.the Crribean Clipper was attackting Oudyss.Imperial Flagship attacted CC.

Then the BSB, Cannon's on shore, starting shelling the CC.The Caribbean Clipper couldn't handle this, but then they saw the Consa. They then sailed directly too the Consa ignoring the BSB land force.Soon the CC was boarding the Consa after chasing her.IF followed too finish the CC.Cross-bone Clipper went to help the Consa.As bavely as the Consa crew fought, they would have been dead if the ImperialF hadn't attacked the boarding Party.When CBC was closing in, both retreated.However, as the CC left with only a two treasure chest's, it hit the Consa's anchor, sending it into the Sea, and the Consa couldn't bring it up, so she was stuck.However,the CC retreated when the IF almost finished her off.Oudyss was almat sinking, being hit with many broadside's.5 shell's managed to go completly throught her hull. the ImperialFlagship was beat too.

They both retreated.The Pirate's held the Isle for 4 weeks before being chased out during this time, the BSB was raised, the Pirate's found rich's in the sunken Isle, and they celabrated there victory.As the Pirate's left the Isle, they were chased by the Brittish for 40 days and 40 night's.Just Kidding! However it seemed like this. The Razor was nearly sunk,the crew on the BSB Complaind of everything was soggy.The Consa's hold broke lose because of termite's, taking a day to repair the Consu and four to retrieve the treasure.However, one man did not complain.This was Captain Phaunsaus.

He lost a hand and his fot was numb for a month, and tempowary blind for a week.He was just glad to survive that terrible ordeal.He would later help the Pirate's find Organia Isle.

Hmmmm... Interesting story... I noticed you've used abbreviations for Black Seas Barracuda and Carribean Clipper. I'm not sure that's such a good idea because someone new to Pirate LEGO wouldn't know what you were referring to. But if this is only intended for existing Pirate fans it shouldn't matter so much - but why limit your audience to a select group?

There is (or was) a glossary of terms in the Community Forum but I have no idea where it is now.

That glossary whoever only contained terms relating the message boards and LEGO generally. There is no current Pirate LEGO glossary, but there are some Pirate terms defined in a thread in the Great Library.

1) Phred's question was valid very relevant. As mentioned not everybody will know what CC or BSB means so asking if there is a glossary is a very on topic question.

2) The Administrators and Moderators decide when a thread has gone off topic, not the users. We will create a new thread if we feel the need, but 2 posts hardly warrants that.

As for your story Mr Cole, is there any particular reason you haven't put a space after your periods?

For example (look closely I've marked them in red):

Ondering are you? X-D Maybe the story is a bit long for them, but you only posted it yesterday so perhaps you could wait a little longer. But if you're really desperate for some feedback from them then you could always PM them.

Cutlass Cole some of your sentences (like the one above) make very little sense. Could you please take the time to read over your sentences and correct mistakes, otherwise people won't be able to understand you.

There's probably no point in mentioning this, but: If someone knows nothing about Pirate LEGO then they aren't going to know the names of the ships regardless of how well known they are to hardcore Pirate fans.

But generally speaking, its plain lazy to use abbreviated names when telling a story. Yes, there are exceptions like HAL, TARDIS, etc. but these abbreviations were defined right from the beginning and are official names. However, in the case of this story the LEGO Group has never officially abbreviated the Black Seas Barracuda to BSB, and that's why newcomers may be a bit confused,

Anyway. I've said my piece. Abbreviate all you like if you think it doesn't matter.
