Ahoy,

I am happy to present a brigg [sorry: it seems to be "brig" in English] with custom sails - the India (because of the galion):

I have tried custom sails before but without the custom rigging. This time I am quite happy about the result.

Then I found that the pictures look much better with a decent blue background:

The crew is famous, as usual :pir-sweet:

I hope you enjoy this (small) brigg and I am looking forward to comments that tell me that the "rear sail" is incorret :pir-grin: .

So, we sail into the sunset:

... wishing everyone a nice weekend!

(P.S.: Don't try to search for "Lego Brig". Some clever algorithm is sure that you meant "Lego brick". I hate programs that try to be intelligent...)

Oh, what a cutie, well done! Kudos on the rigging, looks good! And the sky is a really nice addition.

If their destination bares any relation to the name... well, it's gonna be a hell of a journey... luckily you teamed up a crew of fearsome professionals... except maybe for the one with the obvious drinking problem... oh my...

So, in a nutshell to sum up it's a beautiful little nutshell ship. It just lacks one very important feature - again!!

Oh, and that rear sail is incorrect pirate_tong.gif

A nice weekend to you, too, Captain!

The rear sail is incorrect. Feel bad.

Of course, I'm only kidding. This is a lovely ship, nice job on the rigging. Cool flag and figurehead.

Nice little ship,

a brig usually has a taller second mast (the second mast taller than the foremast).

It might classify as a square rigged ketch, (which would be nice because there aren't a lot of those around here).

But I'm not complaining, I never do when I have a baguette in my hand pir_laugh2.gif .

Nice presentation bassin pirate_classic.gif .

Thank you for your kind comments.

I might consider changing the rear sail, but actually, I really wanted it to look THIS WAY.

(There goes historical accuracy...) pirate_laugh2.gif

If their destination bares any relation to the name... well, it's gonna be a hell of a journey...

Well, having seen the Golden Hinde in London I must say that in those days brave captains really sailed across the seven seas in nutshells small ships.

Maybe they were ketches. I don't know. pirate_satisfied.gif

("Ketch" actually does not sound too good. You know, like "you need to ketch up") pir_laugh2.gif

ohhh I have found myself :). I don´t get this post on 11th Oktober, but now I found it because of a link. I do like your brigg. I esspecelly love the superstructure in red. I had not thought, that it can look such good, with the grey mini hull. It reminds me on the cogs build by the Hanse. I, as a inhabitant of a Hanseatic town, must love it !!!! Here a pic of a "Hansekogge"(hanseatic cog)

Therefore I support a new name fot this beauti "Riga"pir_laugh2.gif
