Dear AFOL friends, due to leakage of production plant in our country one member of our Lego club had bought a new promo set. Until now he placed only photo of the box, later on promissed to make a review. Heavenly God, I wanna one at all costs!

WOW! Oh set 4999, How do I love thee, let me count the ways:

1)An attractive cottage

2)A usefull service van

3)Great parts including green BURPS!

4)Responsible energy for my LEGO town!

This would be the perfect addition to my seaside village. By the way, what is VESTAS?

I had saw the earlier image just now. It looks very nice.

Just to share some information with you guys. Vestas, an global company which is an expert in "Wind Energy" This is a tie-up with LEGO. I feel its an illustration on how our world will benefit by applying and believing its technology to make use of re-useable natural resources.

Hinckley, is it ok for me to share a picture or two on the Vestas Exhibition that happened few months ago in Singapore? Don't worry, it's not anything related "directly" to the Vestas Promo, Wind Power plant.

It would appear that Lego wants this beauty kept a secret...=P

Anywho, this is AMAZING. I found pics...somewhere...and...oh wow. This thing is a must-have, and I'll be saddened so much if I can't find it anywhere. I doubt they'd keep a set like this promo, though. Those parts are great for town fans, castle fans, space fans...you name it, that set could be useful for it.

Ohhh goodness...

~Trexxen, who is blown away by this amazing set...

Er...is this a test? Are you working for TLG now? I'm being watched you know. They're outside my window... :look:

So, no. Not if the set appears in the pictures. And if they're just of the convention, post them in community...

Sounds cool but I can't seem to find any of these leaked pics, not even on brickshelf. Maybe I am not searching under the right phrases. Oh well. I guess I can wait patiently.

Wow! Managed to find a pic on Brickshelf and this is a great set. Hope it going to be released properly and not just a promo. One thing though, would it not be quite noisy if you lived in that house

That sounds amazing! :oh:

A wind power plant as a Lego set is absolutely awesome and helps the Lego City to get environmental energy.

Regrettably I missed the pics. When browsing through BS I didn't find them, too :cry_sad: . Can someone please post a link or sent me the link/picture via PM :sweet: ? Thanks.

What's so great about the cottage? I do agree that the generator and van are teh pwnzorz.

I think the great thing about the cottage is its very reminiscent of classic holiday home type houses that Lego used to make like this one from the late 80s which a lot of people (me included) believe Lego need to make more of.

I now found pics, too.

That's absolutely    !

After 10188 Town Plan this is the best City set ever!

I really like the neat landscape with the little hill (there are a bench and some flowers on it, too  ) and this brilliant cottage :oh: :oh: :oh: !

Great idea with that power function that the wind mill turns and then enable the lights of the cottage :classic: !

Concerning the City theme I must say: In the last time TLG comes up with one great surprise after the other.

Does anyone know where and when it'll be available (this year I think - otherwise there wouldn't be already pics, would they?) and how much it'll cost (I think about 70 Euros, what do you think?)?

I only hope that it'll be available in Germany, too, otherwise I would be really :cry_sad: if I am not able to get it since it is a must for every City and environment fan!

I also found the pics, and most of what I can say is: :oh::wub:

It's kind of funny how it's a small house with a gigantic windmill over it, though.

OK guys, respect TLCś crazy policy (They don´t take care about thiefs selling those sets long before official release, but they complain about one small photo on web  ). If someone still needs photo, simply email me on josefzizka@post.cz, I will be glad to send you three pictures

I totally agree with you, JSN' date=!

This house in your link reminds me of the old weekend/holiday cottages ( ).

Hopefully the cottage in the wind power plant set cottage includes a nice interior, too. The outside looks amazing anyway :oh: !

I really would like to see more apartment holiday homes, too, but how it seems TLG is on its best way towards doing that!
