anothergol Posted June 11, 2016 Tachikoma-style, they share the same structure & they open the same way. https://www.flickr.com/photos/137434519@N08/albums They were a good use for this new part:
Leonardo da Bricki Posted June 12, 2016 What does that new part come in? I was planning RE those, until I saw that pic...
Dannylonglegs Posted June 12, 2016 These are all gorgeous! The shaping is absolutely fantastic! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
anothergol Posted June 12, 2016 Thanks What does that new part come in? I was planning RE those, until I saw that pic... Those new 'mighty micros' for kids. They can be done using old 2x2 parts, but with 2x4 it's kinda more solid & the structure is a little different.
Leonardo da Bricki Posted June 12, 2016 Those are nice and cheap, I might have to pick one up to build those... Thanks!
Umbra-Manis Posted June 13, 2016 These are great! I really like how they open, and the first design is definitely my favorite!
anothergol Posted June 13, 2016 I've tried making one using the pullback motor generally used to lift hooks in choppers btw. I've already used that motor to close the cockpit in this one, and it works well: Sadly that motor winds up too fast, thus requires a wormgear & the design was getting too bulky. I wish Lego had a wind-up motor like in those Zoïds (when they were motorized).

Littleworlds Posted June 15, 2016 They look strange and exotic, yet at the same time quite familiar too. I love their designs - hats off for this amazing feat!

anothergol Posted June 17, 2016 It's all in my Flickr here: I never made a video of the "action", though.
Th3_Br1ck_Kid Posted July 1, 2016 I like how the vehicles look cute, but at the same time tough. They remind me of mechanized VW Beetles.
Sarles Posted July 1, 2016 Those are spectacular. I like the color schemes as well as the unique design aspects of the entire build.
