It's been a while since I posted my last set MOD, but I got round to photographing another of my MODded sets - CHI Mungus! It's actually a MOD of the Mungus-Fangar (Mungus dominant) combiner, but with many extra MOD's. Hopefully you'll have the time to look at it and appreciate it, what with the news that Bionicle is back and all that  Anyway, without further ado, here's some pics:

Front (I should point out the exposed red axle is for when you want to pose the figure with the weapon in both hands - maybe I should have used a black one):

That's all right now. Hopefully I'll be back soon with some more set MODs for you, but for now, hope you enjoyed this one  Extra pics available on request.

TheOneVeyronian, you're master of MODs! Really good job (as always). Keep up the good work - I want to see more MODs made by you.

Interesting Mod. Though I think he needs less white and more brown. The trunk looks a bit weird being longer like that. I had an idea to try using Humongousaur's arm http://www.bricklink...Pic.asp?P=87842 as a trunk for Mungus but I don't own either set nor plan to. If you own Humongousaur can you try out my idea?

Unfortunately I don't have the set either (and don't plan to either like you, I thought the Ben 10 sets were a joke with their price per piece, something like 80 pence a part!), but interesting idea. The idea with the white was to supplement the white Mungus already had, and work perhaps like a hide (that and I literally only have 8 brown constraction pieces of which 7 are used here). I quite like Mungus' trunk as is though, it gives it more flexibility like a real mammoth trunk :classic:

Thanks very much - you won't be disappointed, just wait until the 2H Hero Factory sets hit my area in about 3 weeks time...

Very impressive ! I'm just not sure about these parts on the sides, don't they limit the arms' poseability ?

The top and shoulder shell armour interferes more with the arm poseability than those shoulder armours on the torso do, believe it or not  With me, cohesiveness comes first, poseability comes second, and the shoulder armours on the torso hide some very large gaps present in the Mungus-Fangar (Mungus dominant) combo.

I don't have much to say about this as I've never really had a taste for hero factory MoCs, but I do still like this one. The placement of the trans blue pieces works very well and makes sense, and the bulkiness works great for this guy.

Hmmm, interesting idea. A lot of humongousaur's parts would seem to fit quite well into the CCBS, brown feet, brown tail, etc. Might have to try and acquire one of them to test this.
