Intruiging Tweet from TLG-Apparent huge news is coming

So, four days to wait for an announcement... Will all the 2015 models finally be (offically) revealed?

Checking out Instagram today I see LEGO has a brick built old timey movie countdown "4" with the caption, "We have HUGE news coming your way! In 4 days time, we will be revealing something very exciting! Let the guessing game commence!"

Hmm...wonder what it is. Anyone here that knows care to divulge a clue or two?

That's what I thought. I think there will be a short film next year, similar to Frozen's.

I'm guessing it's less "HUGE news!," and more "Bionicle leaks? There haven't been any Bionicle leaks. We, uh, don't have any idea what you're talking about. And you haven't heard anything about our plans for Bionicle next year. Because, we, uh, may or may not have any. Probably. QUIT LOOKING AT US LIKE THAT!"

But, the test card is interesting...I do think there's a chance it could be related to the TLMII. Hard to say. Bionicle brought in more cumulative dollars, but TLM has more of a public following. It's hard to say which is the more important franchise, especially since one isn't running. Yet.

Clearly the clue is the use of the word "HUGE" in all Caps, could it be a very very very large IDEAS or UCS set???

I doubt it has anything to do with LEGO Ideas results. They've never done this sort of thing before for it. Maybe it's photos for next years Bionicle.

I totally call it will be an announcement about LEGO's new partnership with Universal, bringing Jurassic Park/Minions sets.

Has to be related to tv or movies due to the test card. And I agree it's bigger than a single line since they are making a such a big deal about an announcement.

If licensed it could be interesting?

- there have been rumors of a huge Death Star replacement looming. May or may not be SW?

- there isn't much in the way of "huge" licenses out there unexploited at this point? Maybe Power Rangers or Star Trek? Those are the only Huge franchises I can think of in their target range?

- given the timing, the 6 colors and the "HUGE" maybe Big Hero 6? With the Huge referring to Baymax?

- maybe something like a broad Nintendo partnership?

If unlicensed? Maybe a huge D2C Space Base?

Or it all could just be the public announcement for Bionacles return. Remember most people don't see or read the rumors and spoilers we do. And to sane normal people out in the real world, many of who grew up with the line, that would be huge.

Just going by the 4 picture I am leaning a little towards something Classic Space. It has the 6 colors. It is made of old classic colors and parts. Old greys, yellowed whites. Radar dishes. So at least this teaser leans that way. But that might change tomorrow.

No chance whatsoever with that. Marvel is ticked at Fox and is allowing NOTHING that might play into what is looking more and more like Fox's horrible FF movie. No FF Merchandising permitted for the foreseeable future. They are even mothballing the FF comics lines.
