LDD to Mecabricks

Hello,

With the bad news of LDD not being updated anymore I thought that it was a good timing to start developing an importer for mecabricks. No your collection of lxf files is not going to catch the dust in a dark corner of you hard drive. You might be able soon to upload all of them on mecabricks to keep working on them with the latest parts that are not going to be added to ldd ;-)

Just to mention it, the latest news was actually that we could expect some maintenance releases and that LDD wasn't dead. I think the massive support in the online community the past week showed TLG how many people actually use LDD, so we'll have to wait and see.

My post was written with some humour inside ;-) The 2 events are actually not related. It is just because the mecabricks community was asking for this feature a bit louder in the last few weeks.

I am not going to develop again on what I think is going to happen to LDD. There have been enough things said in other topics.

Just a note since Scrubs is busy right now. The import function is now live! Prints and flex parts are currently not supported, but the function is being constantly improved with better conversion data.
