I started building this back in March, if you can believe it, but a move, time-consuming techniques, lack of pieces, and simply being occupied with other stuff (including other builds) have taken it's completion until now.

Nonetheless, I really like how it turned out and am excited to hear what you guys think!

Looks amazing! I can see why it took so long to build... Well worth the wait! Amon the many other excellent details, the rushing water here is incredible!

This is a nice build, and a great representation of the scene. I love the way the water was done, and the landscaping looks great. The trees are also really nice. The way the rocks are clustered into dark and light sections is a really nice touch. You did a good job on the custom barrels, I didn't even notice them until I looked again.

Nice work!

Stunning build with again a marvelous rockwork! You managed to capture the action of the scene almost perfectly. Only needs a log of an old tree laying over the river, but maybe I'm asking for too much now. ;-)

Holy Cow! Nice rocks, man! Looks like a barrel of fun, too! The running water is perfect, and the trees really frame it well.

I am exhausted just looking at all the details....no wonder it took so long to build. Way to gooooooo!

Thanks for comments, fellas!

How did you make the barrels?

I borrowed the technique used to make the water tower in 10246 Detective's Office. Scroll down through this and you'll find it. :classic:

Smashing work. I really like the way the water tapers down. Trees and rockwork also look great

My 2nd favorite scene from the Hobbit trilogy recreated flawlessly in Lego form. Absolutely in love with this and your other LotR/tH works
