3. Z-Van

Based on GMC minivan used in the TV show "A-Team". This is for the newer perrils out there, when a group of underground heroes have to adapt to the new times we are living into.

These days seems like zombies are overrunning the TV and all the other types of media, some one needs to put that in check.

For that you may call the Z-Team ...... ....... if you can find them.

The MOC has:

1 L for drive,

1 Servo for steering

1 M for rotating the turret

1 M for guns action

1 PF lights

2 IR receivers

Rear wheel drive, with a fake V8 under the hood, functional engine hood, driver, passenger, and rear doors, manual or automatic side pannels.

5. Katipo Spider

Discussion Topic

Modeled on the venomous Katipo spider, the NZ cousin of the Black Widow!

Functions:

  1. Left walking
  2. Right walking
  3. Jaws
  4. Winch

The walking mechanism is based on Sariel's Octopod walker, stretched sideways to reduce the step size so the long legs work realistically. I tried making it walk on the long axle-built legs, but their length amplifies the weight too much! The model works perfectly with the Sbrick, but the Android app is not reliable enough to use for demonstration.

The jaws are closed by two MiniLAs, which gives them a painfully strong bite that the spider can hang from.

A winch at the back is directly driven by an XL motor for fast climbing! I could easily thread the string through the front to make it climb up more realistically, but real ones use their legs for that anyway.

The red mark on the back, brown leg tips and eye layout are carefully copied from the real one.

Designed and produced by Soviet Union, DT-54 is a tractor for general use. It was produced during 1949-1979, and a total number of 957,900 was made.

To meet the TC6 requirement, I added a blade in the front and a ripper at the back, making it into a bulldozer.

Functions:

2 L motors for propulsion

1 M motor for blade

1 M motor for ripper

13. Modified Rough Terrain Transport

img_0568s.jpg

This vehicle is used on a remote mining facility, (on another planet even). The vehicle used to be a military transport vehicle of some sort, designed for very rugged terrain. Once the loading crane broke down, the residents of the mining colony mounted the boom of the crane horizontally to the back of the truck, so they could continue using the truck to transport supplies and equipment around the mining colony.

Functions

  • 2x L Motors for propulsion
  • 1x Servo for steering
  • 1x M Motor for boom extension
  • 1x M Motor for winch

Other Functions

  • 6x6 drive
  • steering on axles 1 and 3
  • steering wheel turns when wheels are steered
  • LED Headlights
  • LED Lights in cargo bay
  • fake V6
  • Compass!!

img_0569s.jpg

img_0571s.jpg

Boom extended, hook lowered. You can also see the net and chains that keep the cargo from falling out the back.

img_0577s.jpg

You can barely see the fake V6 underneath the IR Receiver.

18. Arctic Equalizer

I’m glad to present my [TC6] contest model – Arctic Equalizer! It’s a mix of huge bulldozer, ice-breaker and… road-roller!

IMG_5868_.jpg

IMG_5849__.jpg

IMG_5863_.jpg

Dimensions: 77cm x 38cm x 55cm

Weight: 6.9kg (I’ve made special handle at the top for transportation)

I’ve used two V2 receivers for RC functions and constantly running powerful compressor (eight small pumps, two 9V BB, three Air Tanks).

RC functions (total six motors):

- Left and right tracks, two pairs of XL-motors;

- Three-channel distribution gearbox (two-speed gearbox for tracks and one more switching additional function), one M-motor;

- Additional function, one M-motor.

Transmission:

trans.jpg

So additional motor puts in action three valves. One valve controls front blade height and two other valves controls the height of roller.

pneumatic.jpg

Roller valves works separately due to differential gear with one overloaded output (additional gears on axle pins with friction).

20. Lamborghini Huracan

Hello all

This is my entry for TC6, the lamborghini huracan. It originally started in life as a semi-completed chassis for my mclaren p1 mk2 moc, but was completely redesigned for a 4wd supercar chassis, and the easiest 4wd supercar I thought of building would be the new lamborghini huracan (I say easy, due to the likings of the bugatti veyron, nissan gtr, lambo aventador, audi r8 which are all 4wd.) Here are the functions:

Motorized functions include:

-1 XL motor for drive

-1 Servo motor for steering

-1 L motor for changing gears

-1 M motor for raising the left rear pushrod (because the battery box creates a vast bias on the suspension)

Manual functions:

- opening hood

- linear actuated scissor doors

- adjustable aero: adjustable spoiler angle, adjustable front splitter

- working front lights

Specifications:

- Flat 10 engine Max rpm: 121.7 (max output torque 17.4N.cm to the engine)

- 1.3KG

- 0.004HP

- 28.2N.cm of torque to the wheels

- 3.08HP per ton

Also the car features a flat 10 engine, running at speeds of the XL motor. The chassis was intensely developed in a period of almost 2 months to enclose many variants of the car such as the gearbox, engine, various suspension types and such, and to stay completely rigid even when the roof and engine cover are removed. The car also has 30 degree independent suspension in the front, and pushrod suspension in the rear inspired by the lamborghini aventador.

Here are some pictures of the car:

Video (part 2 functions): https://www.youtube....kgHiaCdR_M9EUpA

Video (part 3 The drive): https://www.youtube....kgHiaCdR_M9EUpA

Sorry that the video is not good quality, it's because the video maker software I normally use for uploading ALL my youtube videos, got deleted when my laptop broke, and downloading it won't work because it corrupts my laptop. And If I eventually found a solution, I wouldn't make the competition deadlines.

I hope you like it, and thank you for viewing it!
