Wired has just put up a gallery entitled “Historic moments recreated in Lego”, featuring both high profile and more obscure builders within the community, highlighting obvious as well as more obscure historical events including The assassination of Archduke Ferdinand, the race to the South Pole, The Beatles, Muhammad Ali, even the launch of the iPhone.

There's some ingenious builders and amazing constructions in there. Check it out.
