Matn Posted October 19, 2007 (edited) Hello, I'm Matti (I prefer Matn). Currently I'm 14 years old and I'm a BeLUG member (you know, the LUG of Belgium), for a year now. I signed up a few days ago because I wanted to read and give comment on reviews and things like that... :-| I've been in touch with LEGO since 1994, when I started playing with Duplo, so young started. I don't have that much LEGO but I have around 7 curverboxes (do you know that?) and currently I'm building my older sets again. I was a bit LEGO-blacked out when I was 11-12. If you want to see the sets I own i will give you later the link of my brickset (it is not working now) . Next year I can have a vacation job, so I can earn money and buy some big lots of LEGO to build some real MOC's, because want to have my sets i'm building in the builded condition. And also for next year: leaving my room and getting the attic to build a real town on a table! So, high to all you guys and don't mind the spelling. *sing* *y* Edited October 19, 2007 by Matn
Bonaparte Posted October 19, 2007 Welcome here Matn !! It always feels good to welcome someone from Belgium. In which part of Belgium do you live? Is your first language French or Dutch?
Matn Posted October 19, 2007 Thanks! My first language is Dutch, so I live in Flanders. However, I live at 5 metres from France (I live in Watou, near Poperinge, near Ypres/Ieper). Believe it or not, my French at school is terrible, the writing, if it's about speaking French i'm good. *sad*

Shadows Posted October 20, 2007 Welcome to our little corner of LEGOland! What are curverboxes? Your LEGO 'black-out' is what some of us call our 'dark ages', and fortunately, we've all recovered nicely, as have you *y* Next year looks to be a fine year for some new LEGO, be sure to browse around and see all the coming sets so you'll know just how many hours you'll have to work to keep up ;-) Enjoy! :-)

freddy_LC Posted October 24, 2007 Welcome on EB Matn!!! Did you like castle or SW theme? freddy_LC friendly :-)
Matn Posted October 24, 2007 (edited) Thanks. Well, I like all the themes. I have a bit of that, and a bit of this. But the most sets I buyed is from City. I'm planning to have a layout with an Castle section (a forest within) and at the other side of that forest the City part. Or I will put it al together. I just like everything. I like even Spongebob, I will order some sets within a month or two. And then Star Wars, well I like the models and they have a place at my bookshelf. Some of the Space sets will be placed there also. Edited October 24, 2007 by Matn
