Playing arround with the newer styled suspension arms and H frames I managed to make extremely compact FWd with Cv's and hubs for low pivot point and high versatility:

As you can see the A arms are angled to make everything very compact.

Using RC unit's steering ouptut the steering can be nice and precise. The motors were placed sideways on the rear end to also power the rear wheels:

You may ask me whats the point of using AWD?

- first because I can

- second I wanted to compare performance with FWd disabled and enabled. On normal ground there is some difference in braking distance, but on slippery surface there is a lot of difference when accelerating. The bad side is that you cannot powerslide with AWD.

- cause its cool!

To top things of, here's a video:

nice idea  why did you make the side of the cab go in the way? is that what the real one looks like?

Awesome do you have some more breakdown pictures or a .ldd file. I love it because it uses RF (from supersonic) instead of IR. I would love to have a hard drive of nothing but different instruction sets to use with RF. I love the range of RF and really wish LEGO would add

a something back to their lineup that could be used with Powerfunctions that included both a receiver and transmitter that was Radio Frequency instead of the short range of both Bluetooth and IR.

thanks

Thanks, too bad I dont have any .lxf files, because parts used are not in LDD (yet i hope), and the models is already dissasembeled.
