Hi guys and gals! I just recently finished one of my largest commissioned pieces and I can now share it with all of you. :sweet:

This is the Perot Museum of Science and Nature that is currently being built in Dallas, Texas.

Here's what the rendered image looks like:

Because the interior can be seen through the "glass" windows I had to make 5 floors worth of walkways.

For the next month it will be on display at the Dallas Cityscape Exhibit.

You can read more about it on my Model Building Secrets blog.

That's pretty massive! Really looks like it! Wish I had that much white bricks!

Mariann, this is a fantastic replica of a unique building. It's even more impressive that the interior is fully designed as well. The amount of thought that went into designing and drafting the blueprints really paid off in the final product.

That's amazing. I enjoyed reading your blog entry about it as well.

I agree with the above. Really nice work! Congratulations.

Wow, that is awesome. The inside looks good as the exterior. It looks like this took quite some time. Very well done . Is that glue used?default_classic.gif

Yes, I glued the whole model, one brick at a time. I had to, I was shipping it from California to Texas. :sweet:

Very impressive build. An interesting idea, great execution, and determined sourcing of white and trans-clear elements.

I'm always impressed to see angular features on big scale projects and yours is a great execution!

Very cool. I'm taking a trip to Texas next week so I'll keep a look out for this. Nice job.

Wait! You went to BrickWorld without much sleep. You went to Comicon where you probably did not have much sleep.

And you build this very large commission.

When did you sleep?
