Peppermint_M Posted July 24, 2011 (edited) Like her sister craft White Lightning, Blue Thunder was a stunt plane in the Swift State Sky Circus. The guns loaded with blanks for dramatic dogfights to entertain the crowds. Now in these dark days of war the guns fire live rounds, defending the reconnaissance teams on their vital missions. Buck “Pop” Rocket pilots the Blue Thunder, he yearns for the peaceful times of the Air Circus and flying to stun and amaze. This plane was an experiment by me, borne out of a distinct lack of inverted curved wedge elements I use in my planes to create the tidy slope at the back. However, I did have quite a few matching pairs of the long curved wedges from my Exo Force collection. Using SNOT and a few other techniques I built this plane. The end result was perfect (IMO) so I built another. A mix of the more mundane stunt planes and racing planes of the here-and-now with a little Sky-Fi flare. I just love building planes! WhiteFang Posted July 24, 2011 Very nice colour schematic for this awesome blue aircraft. I like how you managed to skew this whole aircraft into steampunk and making use of stickers from the Exo-Force too. Thanks for sharing! It's great to see such imaginative aircraft stuff in here.
